If we cant afford his fee and his owner reject our bids and accept mancity's then how does that make HIM a greeady bstrd ?

Can't believe people are getting stressy over Tevez.

At the end of the day he's with the Mancs i'm sure for that amount
of money their has got to be a player that is at least worth it.

I'm not saying he's not top notch but he's no Zinadine Zidane either.

Barry signed for City.

I thought he wanted Champions League football! Very strange.

I only hope we keep Alonso now because if he does end up leaving then Barry for £12 million would have been a decent replacement, and we could have bought another player in too.

Let's hope Xabi stays otherwise for me it puts Rafa in a difficult position.
I suppose you could say he has gone there for the money, which makes his CL comments even more wierd, Villa fans must be seething and you can't blame them.

It strange though...

I thought this 'GB in talks with City' would have been to force a deal through quickly with us but this is bizarre.

If he wanted champions league he'd have a better chance at villa. If he wants to be assured of being in the starting line-up then ... he'd have a better chance at villa. Makes no sense to me. Have some balls and back urself at a real team. I thought he was guaranteed to line out for us or Wengers lot next season. Signing for City is laughable

Rumors today saying Utd will at last offer the full 32Mil for Tevez. Not really good news. Also Chelsea have apparantly signed (or are close to signing) Danny Sturridge from City. We should have tried for him. Gutted we were never in for him as he looks a great prospect.

Was Tevez really a target for us? Or was he just a smokescreen? Who knows. Long way to go yet before we can say out targets are slipping away. We don't even know who our targets are we are just going of hearsay and talk from the papers.
