CHELSEA V LIVERPOOL TICKET DETAILS

Liverpool Football Club would like to make the following announcement regarding our Champions League away game against Chelsea (14/04/09): 
To be played at Stamford Bridge
On Tuesday, April 14, 2009 – kick off 7.45pm GMT.
 
We have received an allocation of 2,997 tickets for this all ticket fixture priced as follows:
 
Shed Upper Tier Adult
£47
Over 65s £19.50
Child £19.50 (under 16)
 
Shed Lower Tier Adult
£44
Over 65s £19.50
Child £19.50 (under 16)
 
Wheelchair and Personal Assistant free
 
Ticket Allocation
 
Tickets will be allocated to Qualifying Season Ticket Holders, Corporate Members and Members/Fan Card Holders who meet the following criteria:
 
Supporters who purchased a ticket from the Club for the away Champions League fixtures against Olympique de Marseille (16.09.08), Atletico Madrid (22.10.08) PSV Eindhoven (09.12.08) and Real Madrid (25.02.09) can make an application for ONE Chelsea ticket.
 
IMPORTANT: Applicants who attended Real Madrid should provide their proof of travel to Madrid, e.g. the original stub from the flight boarding pass(es) or original documentation from other means of travel, as this may be required for future matches. This must be provided along with the application for Chelsea for it to be recorded. Proof of Travel to Madrid cannot be recorded after the Chelsea match has been played.
 
Official Packages
 
Thomas Cook Sport will be offering an Official Coach and Ticket package to Chelsea priced at £35 plus the match ticket cost. The ticket qualification criteria remains the same as above and supporters who qualify can book an official package for as long as supplies last at Thomas Cook or phone 0870 752 0924 for more details.
 
Selling Arrangements
 
Tickets purchased for FOUR previous away matches
From Friday 3 April until Saturday 4 April 2009.
 
Tickets purchased for THREE previous away matches
Monday 6 April until Tuesday 7 April 2009.
 
It is anticipated that there will be a small balance of tickets remaining after the above sales which will go on sale as follows:
 
Tickets purchased for TWO previous away matches and who have already provided Proof of Travel for two previous away matches, or have already provided Proof of Travel for one previous match and can provide it for Real Madrid.
 
This sale will be from Wednesday 8 April 2009 and will be by Postal Application Only.
 
All the above sales are subject to availability and while stocks last.
 
Window Sale
 
Supporters must present completed European Away Ticket Application Forms, original Proof of Travel to Madrid and the Fan Cards when applying at the Ticket Office.
Forms can be obtained from the Ticket Office or downloaded from :European Away Ticket Application Form.
 
Telephone Sale
 
Credit card bookings can be made on Telephone Number 0844 844 0844 (Overseas (0044) 870 220 2151). Bookings will require all Fan Card numbers to be provided and the applicants address to be confirmed. Customers booking by Telephone but still wanting to record Proof of Travel to Real Madrid must submit it to the Ticket Office before the Chelsea away match is played.
 
Postal Application
 
Applicants must complete a European Away Ticket Application Form and attach original Proof of Travel to Real Madrid. The Fan Card number must be quoted. Please state your preferred ticket price. Every effort will be made to supply the ticket(s) to the value requested but this cannot be guaranteed.
A cheque made payable to Liverpool Football Club and endorsed not to exceed the maximum value of the highest priced ticket. The cheque will be completed by the Club to the actual value of the tickets available.
Please also include return stamped addressed envelope and a daytime telephone number must also be included. All applications must be received at the Ticket Office by Friday 3rd April 2009.
 
N.B. Successful applicants will have their tickets posted out to them.
 
Please Note: Supporters can purchase one ticket per qualifying Fan Card.
Supporters can purchase tickets for up to a maximum of SIX qualifying Fan Cards at the Ticket Office window, and FOUR qualifying Fan Cards on the Telephone booking lines.
Supporters wishing to purchase a greater number of tickets MUST apply by postal application.
 
IMPORTANT all applicants must quote their Fan Card Number.

No refunds on tickets will be considered after Thursday 9th April 2009.
 
N.B. Tickets for the future away Champions League matches may be allocated on the basis of using the data from previous away Champions League matches from both the current and the previous season.
 
N.B. Proof of Travel from this fixture will not be required.

Monday – Friday 8.15am – 5.30pm
Saturday 9.15am – 1.00pm
 
Please note telephone booking lines will open at 8.30am Monday - Friday.

Why does this happen every year? And how do these online vendors who sell the tickets for 300% of their value get hold of so many tickets? They want to eradicate touting but they leave fans with no choice.

Each game in the prem and CL always get sold to companies who offer corparate packages hence why you cna always get a ticket but expect to pay way over the odds for them - the companies pay a lot for the tickets so then sell them for even more to make a profit

Chelsea will be strong now that they have drogba and essein back , makes our task alot tougher , i think we can hold them to a draw and go through on the away goals
