I got a mate who buys into just about every conspiracy theory going, 9/11, plahnes polluting the atmos with chem trails, planet X, Fluride in the water to dum us down and his absolute favourite at the moment is the new world order, the self-created global depression (the one that is coming now) and that there will be a single monetary currency throughout the world in the not too distant future. He posts up a new vid on facebook everyday. He will believe anything and everything.

global warming is :censored:

500 years ago it was so cold in england the ports was frozen and ships couldn't leave port.

1000 years ago it was so hot in england we could grow grapes here it goes around and around.

The world banks want to control us tax us keep us under there control steal our money.

It aint really about money its about class they think of them selfs as the elite of the world and we are all there slaves.

Its been like this for a long time and you know what they doing a great job.

think of it this way.

World bank (privert owned)
Lends money to uk (uk pays back instrest)for WW2
Also lends money to germany (they pay back in instrest)
So each contry goes to war millions die then who has to pay the bill ? not the goverment not the bankers we do the people we are there slaves.

cs gases increase emmissions (not to mentiopn cars) hurting the ozone layer, melting the ice caps and raising sea levels, that all has the knock on effect... or so they say.

The fact is that the ice caps are melting, changing sea levels.

most emmissions and regulations regarding emmissions are aimed at improving air quality (tackling air pollution) which is sort of different from the whole global warming thing...
regional pollutants as opposed to global pollutants and all that...

air pollution has decreased dramatically in the past 50-80 years or so... does anyone talk about that ? NO

does anyone talk about acid rain anymore ? NO...

do environmentalists talk about all the people all around the world who died because of the banning of DDT ? NO

was there a solid reason for the banning of DDT ? studies say NO

why was it done ? RENT SEEKING ...

ill get back to the whole global warming thing in a minute just need to charge my laptop...

Theres evidence that a small amount of warming has occurred over the last century. It is less certain that green house gases have caused this warming or that the warming will continue. The greatest period of warming this century occurred before the large increase in emission of greenhouse gases. Global warming seems to be occurring but there may be more uncertainties than some journalists, policy makers, and environmental groups would have use believe.

back to your cars ting though... Cow fart releases methane which is much much much much worse (20x) than CO2... eating less meat would be the easiest way of reducing greenhouse gases by around 18 percent i think ...

thats besides the point though....

this is data for the states:

-carbon monoxide emissions fell from 197 million tons to 89 million tons
-nitrogen oxide emissions fell from 27 million tons to 19 million tons
-sulfur dioxide emissions fell from 31 million tons to 15 million tons
-particulate emissions fell by 80%
-lead emissions fell by more than 98%

all comes down to selective science man.. u can spin any sh!t any way you like and make it sound plausible... tell a bunch of people they can save the planet if they give you 20$ and u can bet ur house most of them will.. show them a few figures and sets of data about stuff they dont understand and 'll make firm believers out of every last one of them....

this whole ozone depletion, acid rain, global cooling, global warming...whatever :censored:

has been going on forever now... every few years something new threatens our very existence and a few years later it all dissapears into THIN AIR...

Those figures were probably massaged by them because under the Bush administration they did not want to join the Kyoto protocol.

Whatever happened to the hole in the ozone layer? That was the environmental headline all through the 80's/90's but it never gets a mention anymore. I remember some speculation that it was actually repairing itself, don't know if that is true or not?
