well..

everyone seems to have wanted the league title this year and after a good start we went and fcked it up big time in 2 or 3 months and we'v only got ourselves to blame...

too late to change all that.. but as things stand, where do we go from here ?

personally id want Rafa out by the end of the season... the league is gone now and no manager on Earth can come back from 10 points behind the mancs with so little time remaining to win it...would take a miracle and it simply wont happen..

We'r still in the CL for now, which is always nice but expected if we'r to be honest here... English clubs being much better than the other sides, surely a spot in the last 8 is the least a top4 side in England should be aiming for.. i dont think we'll go far in the CL this season... but still theres no doubting Benitez when it comes to the Cl and theres no one else id rather have for the latter stages i guess..

any thoughts...

We have proven to all that in Europe we are a powerful force even when we have results like these in the league. Get Rafas contract sorted. Next season he can have no excuses now that Parry has gone. If it still goes tits up from there then we need to thnik about a new manager.

Lets wait for the deadwood supporters to leave so this forum can get decent again and we can have real fans.

Too many JCLs for my liking no matter how frustrated we are...

I went with Rafa out at end of the season. I think if we win the CL THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN SACK THE MANAGER. Even though I don't believe he will ever win the league.

Oh so it was Parry's fault we havnt challenged for the league ever under Rafa then...

my take on this.... Well i think Rafa is fcking poor when it comes to the transfer market and dealing with players at his disposal... sure its probably easier blaming poor ol' Parry for every Rafa fck up in the transfer market or every player we miss out on or end up getting only for them to turn out to be sht... but comeon some of you guys are surely taking it to a whole new level here... 1st options and all that... Anything official i've read, even the speculation from the people whom u'd think would know more than us seems to suggest that Rafa and the owners had more to do with most of our transfer dealings in recent times than Parry did....

One of the main reasons i'd want Rafa gone is because of his distinct failure when it comes to the transfer market... who's to say come next summer we dont end up buying a couple more dossenas and a lucas and a babel... get rid of sht and bring in some more sht is what Rafa seems to do at times...

Wouldnt it be much better if we just add a couple of 20mill quality players to our squad while keeping all the dross we have now instead of going out and selling dross only for us to need more dross as backup ? FFS... dont sell Sissoko and Cisse to go out and buy Lucas and Bellamy...baffling i tell ye !

but then again as u so rightly put it... now that he's gone.. no more excuses for Rafa i guess...

Why isn't any option for going for the Champions League AND for the 2. place in the PL? By the way, why give up the 1. place at all?

I don't get it. We have a good shot in the CL, or did I miss something and we are already out? We are 3. in the PL, only 1(!!!) point behind Chelsea, so it means to try to be second is a childish dream doesn't it? Give me a break.
