  Oh so it was Parry's fault we havnt challenged for the league ever under Rafa then...

my take on this.... Well i think Rafa is fcking poor when it comes to the transfer market and dealing with players at his disposal... sure its probably easier blaming poor ol' Parry for every Rafa fck up in the transfer market or every player we miss out on or end up getting only for them to turn out to be sht... but comeon some of you guys are surely taking it to a whole new level here... 1st options and all that... Anything official i've read, even the speculation from the people whom u'd think would know more than us seems to suggest that Rafa and the owners had more to do with most of our transfer dealings in recent times than Parry did....

One of the main reasons i'd want Rafa gone is because of his distinct failure when it comes to the transfer market... who's to say come next summer we dont end up buying a couple more dossenas and a lucas and a babel... get rid of sht and bring in some more sht is what Rafa seems to do at times...

Wouldnt it be much better if we just add a couple of 20mill quality players to our squad while keeping all the dross we have now instead of going out and selling dross only for us to need more dross as backup ? FFS... dont sell Sissoko and Cisse to go out and buy Lucas and Bellamy...baffling i tell ye !

but then again as u so rightly put it... now that he's gone.. no more excuses for Rafa i guess...

No I think Rafa is to blame for some signings of course he is. But that doesnt change the fact that some of his potential signings should I say have been scuppered by Rick Parry.

Who is to say if Rafa had managed to get 1 more quality player say Alves or Simao (or feck knows who else he had lined up we missed out on) that we wouldnt have had the edge to turn those home draws to wins this season. He has not resigned for nothing and Rafa did not kick up a stink about him for nothing.

Rafa has made mistakes but those mistakes are his own. We cannot put Parrys mistakes on Rafa too.

What surprised?

A poster labeling you as negative and you asking whether that's an opinion?

And then you go in the Match thread putting labels of your own ?

This is incredible. If it wasn't for the defeat I'd be in stitches. But I can't.

On the question of the topic, I think that league must be a priority this season and I'll stick to that.

It's not the same to be second or third, it's not only a matter of honour or a stat to show as progress, it means that you haven't to play a preliminary round in Europe and a better preparation of the next season. And that remains valid regardless who you want in the Liverpool bench next season.

I wouldn't quit any importance to any league game except perhaps if we play the CL final, just the previous game.

no, if we give him a new contract and he still mucks up next year it could cost us anything from 1m to 10m to get rid of him.

Get rid of him now and it will cost almost nothing.

Don't waste your typing-energy on these Sabe, whether u want Rafa or don't - a matter of opinion - every true Liverpool supporter is hurting now, about this result and others and lost opportunities which have de-railed a promising league campaign.

Oh and it's part of Rafa's grand plan to brainwash many of us on here and on the kop  :upside:

Ihaven't bothered quoting the post you were on about Sabes as it doesn't matter. What's all this "acceptable opinion" nonsense? An opinion is an opinion, and provided it's a football one surely it's "acceptable"?

Occasionally you get people make extremely regrettable remarks which are unnacceptable (there was one today which was thankfully withdrawn) but an opinion is just that, an opinion.

The sooner posters on here can grasp the idea that it is OK to disagree, the better. If the bloke thinks that Rafa should be given a 50 year contract, is it "acceptable"? Course it is, I disagree and will say why but he's still entitled to his opinion.

In extrem cases just give up and don't bother trying to counter people, that might be a better way to go.

Maybe.

Alternatively, I might find that my patience has a limit. It seems I have to accept that my views are unrealistic, and others claim for themselves impartiality. That notion of self given impartiality is flawed by definition. But I think that after a blow like the last game I don't have to have an extra dose of shít.

It's bad enough to see the team losing to add to that remarks like the ones that Zarababe received. I don't know up there but calling her  coke sniffing isn't exactly what I consider a respectable opinion.

I have shown respect to members of this site for 4 years but that must have some reciprocity. If you see lack of respect, your patience might end up at some point. Some lost the patience because of this. If you fail to see why that kind of post is offensive and provokes a reaction then I despair.

Occasionally you get people make extremely regrettable remarks which are unnacceptable (there was one today which was thankfully withdrawn) but an opinion is just that, an opinion.

Or perhaps is that you are only able to see and comment my regrettable remarks and not others, because those doesn't matter.

Either case, I don't care. Let the mods moderate me if they find my regrettable remarks are more continuous than others.

Ace, i didn't mention you did i? feeling guilty?

What I am saying is there are a fair few people on here who weren't on here a bit ago. People who seem to almost enjoy seeing us lose so they can blame everyone and everything.

My feelings?
I think Rafa is the best man for the job
I think he has made mistakes but has had constraints on him this season that haven't helped.
I think we should show him respect and not swear about him non stop.
I think the place will be a lot better when the Johnny Come Latelys decide to support Villa or Cheatski or whoever else.
I think it's good we disagree but some of the anti's are a fukking disgrace to the rest of us fans.
I think we'll finish 2nd, do the double over united and lift the champions league.
