Good post Owzie well done and whilst the past is an INDICATOR of the problems we have suffered over the past 10 years it also shows us how much room for improvement we need to win the league.

Quite frankly, Rafa needs to see that post mate and give it some serious thought.

We're not going to get 38-40 pts from the last 13 games with a single striker.

The ones who criticise Rafa I think are in the minority, there ars also some who just have doubts.

Ok I concede that but as Sabre pointed out stats can be made to your advantage and the highlighted red for the attention of happy clappers ???   Whats that about.  Just setting the scene not an impartial analysis of stats.

hmm I don't know but maybe Owzat is as annoyed with the sanctimonious sh1t from some of the happy clappers as I am.

You guys are NOT better fans because you refuse to see fault in Rafa you are in fact just ignorant.

Sabre chose to attack Owzat on a personal level, calling him childish and generally belittling him which I think is out of order when someone has spent the time and trouble to produce interesting stats like this.

thats a really good post Owzat regardless of what others might say. as you once said, those who have nothing good to say are either just lazy or not bothered. :)

Liverpool - equal points in both halves : 3

Firstly, great opening post Owz.

I was surprised at this stat - then realised they are taken from 1992-2008.

I think the notion of getting more points in the 2nd half of the season is one attributed solely to Rafa's reign.

God knows where you get your info - but Im quite sure the stats taken just from Rafa's reign
will show a stronger 2nd half of the season.

Owzat - could you put up stats for 1st/2nd half of seasons from Rafa's reign?
I just think it's more representative of what we can expect for the 2nd half of this season.

Cheers S@int, maybe 2007/8 showed a better 2nd half (where dya get these stats?)

There's got to be a reason why people believe we have a better 2nd half of season. I always thought we did too.

I got them originally of RAWK, but I posted these awhile ago on here, and as luck would have it I was reading the original thread on here earlier today.

OK - 2007/8

1st half - 37 points
2nd half - 39 points

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/team....ntype=1

So in 2 seasons we've had the same points in both halves, in the other 2 we've had 2 points more in 2nd half.

Not that convincing.

If you don't like stats that aren't in synch with your "happy clappy" existence, might crack your rose tinted specs or may simply cause you to stick your head back in the sand where it probably belongs then I suggest you stop reading right about now.............

If you can handle a more earnest analysis of previous Champions and how it impacts on and compares with our situation, what is needed etc then read on....? ???

Really..are you sure?
Tell ya what fella you are an absolute tool of an excuse of a supporter and a shame to LFC!Saint or BigMick or anyone else that calls me a "happy clapper" My message is simple"GO AND :censored: YOURSELF"
Read on?
You plastic false w@nking fool..read what?Your shitty derived numbers?
Stick them up your hole  Carol..I AM SICK TO THE BACK TEETH OF READING how cr@p we are,yeah..LFC only two points behind now!
Want the club to move?? Absolute bunch of,shitebags on newkit, totally sickening, with a few fans left!
Disgrace of a forum..absolute disgrace, sickening, but hold on its cool.BigMick may write a book!..He can :censored: stick that where the rest came from!

Owzat is to some extent.

Calm down.

Flipping heck Barry !
There does seem many more doom n gloomers on here and the majority of posts are negative these days. I'm reasonably happy with our season this year, more than any other year since Rafa's arrivel.

I think I disagree with Mick about seeing him off at the end of the season, IMO he's called it to early even after four and half years at the helm with perplexing decisions along the way. I'd be inclined to offer him a two year contract just to see whether he can take us that little bit further if we fail to win the league this year.
Dont get my wrong though I have my gripes with Rafa, I dontI think there are many people in football who can understand the decisions he makes sometimes. And I will voice my concern and criticise him  where and when I feel the need to. people though like it or not have had enough and I can honestly understand why, even if you ant and the likes of Igor and a few others cant. They have a right to voice their opinion whether you agree or not.

BTB its typical of certain posters around here to take cheap little digs at the thread starter. You see, its not rosey enouigh for them, and instead of discussing it they typically result to petty, sly insults. Oh well.
