Yeah I'm so stoked. Finally some genuine class in the A Leauge. Can't wait to watch him play. Surprised he signed in the end considering most of Nth Qld is flooded, they have monsoons and torrential rain at the moment.

Well I was luckily away on holiday for 2 weeks while my home town (Melbourne) was at temperatures over 43* for 6 days straight I think. The day I got back was 47* bloody hot! Townsville has a year round ave. temperature of about 27 and I'm told it's a beautiful so you should be right mate.

I don't think we exploit this enough in the transfer market. I thought it would be a big draw, but maybe not. Maybe its Rafa really wants a certain type of player so badly that just because he can pick up A good player he wont buy unless its HIS good player?

I don't think you can just pick off anybody from teams like this. I think they need to be experienced a little bit to the point where they cannot afford to be playing seasons at this age without also playing in the champions league. Also, looong time veterans of the club aren't going to leave for this reason (or at least you wouldn't think so).  I think this leaves Rosický, Sagna, and RVP as possible targets IMO. Anybody want them?

There could be some pretty decent players on teams in Germany, SPain and Italy that are also going to miss out on the Champions League

Rossi is having a great year at Villareal, but they, right now would miss out on the CL.  Maybe we could get Kun, Maxi, or Samao from Atleti? Lopez played pretty well against us.

Germany: Rakitic, Diego.  And some young talent: Kroos, Renato Augusto, and Marko Marin

Italy: Aquilani, Vucinic;, Goran Pandev, Ledesma, Lorenzo De Silvestri, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Júlio Baptista

Yeah didn't Tony Kroos go on loan somewhere? Anyway I think Bayern would probabaly let Schweinstegger go than let someone poach Tony Kroos. I hope Rafa tries again for that Kerrieson in the Summer. At the end of they day if we can get the player determined to come to us it makes it a lot easier in terms of other clubs trying to come in as they player simply wouldn't negotiate with other clubs.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

I just watched Palmeiras vs. Santos the other day and Keirrison scored a couple of goals. He had a disgustive dive however that tricked the referee into awarding him the penalty, but I hope that was just because he knew he could get away with it in Brazil. Looked pretty talented otherwise. So did Lenny, although he looks a bit small. And they also have another talented youngster, 19 yo Marquinhos was out injured.

Kroos is on loan to Leverkusen

I realize that Bayern probably don't want to let him go, I was just pointing out some nice young talent in the Bundesliga
