That is surely a joke, similarly to that mule of a player Lucas, there is absolutely NO discernable talent, can't cross, not quick, can't tackle, can't pass but thankfully likes to get forward for what reason when his skill factor is 1/10. Arbeloa has never looked like a decent player ever, he was at fault for the goal against Everton, he's light weight and lacks the pace required of a right back, again his tackling remains questionable an average player at very best. Reira has flattered to deceive. Occassional glimpses of talent but he runs at players without actually moving the ball so all the defender has to do is watch it, more finesse and less 'if only I could get through this player! I know I will make myself invisible, oh no Ive failed again, I shall try harder next time.' etc. Kuyt not a winger or right midfielder and apparently not a striker! I like his work ethic though, was poor against Everton! Now Babel is a player I would play more, he's not a favourite of Raffa's but give the kid a chance, for his pace if for nothing else. Benayoun, not a wide player also, but the best of a bad bunch when it comes to who to pick. If the rest of the season is to be judged on who we have on the bench and actually on the pitch, it doesn't bode well!

not a clue

:D  love it leon mate even newbee's are fickle. let's just rip the team apart & start from stratch cause we haven't got the right players to win us anything at the moment.

Rafa would probably make him play in goal and operate a weird system to prove how he is right and the world is wrong. In fact doesnt it say in the book of revelations that fire and brimstorm will descend on the doubters when the tinkerer brings home the holy grail of the 19th :D

Now you're getting it, oh hang you were being sarcastic were you.

I think we do have a good spine to the team but we have a rediculous amount of poor quality players in the squad, people like Kuyt, Dossena, Degan, Eggnog, Lucas, Aurelio, and the weird thing is that they get games all the time.

We are not that far off from havign a very good team, one that canplay attractive andmost importantly attacking football, we almost certainly need a new manager though, a manager who doesn't :censored: £5 million away on childish political games.

That Degan does my head in with the game time Rafa gives him

And its N'gog not eggnog

Why do top managers praise Kuyt for his workrate allowing space for SG etc to operate in but our "fans" apparently the most knowledgeable in the game just slate him.

Hit the nail on the head. And that is already proven this season in the way we have held our own against the other top 4 teams.

The problem is when we get an injury to someone in the 1st team. We don't have the same 'kwaality' througout the squad.

But im sure there are 1 or 2 players in the ressies who can make the grade. Insua done pretty well in his little stint before he went of to that youth tournament. I may be overexaggerating a bit but I think in time he could definatley be our 1st choice LB.

The first eleven is an english school term for the "best" team in a sholastic year, made up of the best players in that particular year.

work it out yourself.

top rival managers want Rafa to play Kuyt, think about it. All I know is that I have not once spoken to someone in a pub who actually rates Kuyt, not once!
Degan plays every time he's fit doesn't he, granted that's not too often but....  :D

Ok so please answer the question instead of attempting to patronise me. I can assure you I know far more about English terminology and the English language than you do, hence why I don't feel the need to be vulgar all the time.

Would Kuyt and Lucas be in your first 11?
