Ok i'm looking to get a wireless modem router thingy . It's so my lad can play his ps3 online upstairs whilst i keep the pc downstairs where i can keep an eye on him while he's using it . So i need to know which one and does it work with any broadband network , i'm with talk talk . Value for money is a good idea and easy peasyness would be good .

I presume you will need an ADSL router Igor (you are not on cable?) Have a look at Scan to get some idea on pricing SCAN LINK (just scroll down)

As for which is best I would say Netgear or Lynksis but I have a Belkin and have never had a problem with it.
A lot depends on what you want to pay..... I am a mean b@stard so I just went for the cheapest that would do what I wanted.

They usually recommend one, and may refuse to help if you have a problem with any but their's , but as far as I am aware they all do the same job, and you can save money if you look around.

Give them a ring and see what they recommend ...... they might give you one free if you're lucky.    :D

They are supposedly the best mate, but get a cheap one which will do the job and when technology moves on you wont be crying while dropping it in the bin.

Cheers Igor - do I take it you're in the know on all things router-related ? I'm a bit of a novice but have a handle on the basics (and a few bits besides)...
