He now plays at Betis and decided to stop being highly rated

Lahm is the only one of those players (except podolski, he would be a good sub) I would want on the team, dont rate the rest.  But I would even want a few players over lahm too.

Yes please but, at 30 years old, I wouldn't be happy paying anything more than £3-£4m for him and even that is at a push!

SSN reports on the Heskey roumour again.

I don't think he would solve the goal scoring issue when Torres isn't fully fit!

Heskey would be a step down from Keane, and I don't rate Keane.

I think that he would be a good option because he can be a target man and our wide players will have something to aim at.  He can also help out Keane by knocking down long balls for him, like he did for Owen against Russia.  Heskey is not a great player but with our limited budget I think he's the best we can do.

Not at all a rumour but F uck I would love it if we could go out and grab Salomon Kalou from the Chavs. Coming out of contract as well I believe? I know Riera's doing alright but Kalou would look alot better on that left wing imo. Really rate the guy.

Meh. Wouldn't want him ahead of Riera tbh, and not sure I would be keen on him at all actually. Seems to go missing a lot of the time imo.

Wish we took SWP for that 8.5 a few months back. Looked like the player we all knew he could be, and over the injuries.

On SWP I can agree a bit more with you. For that prize - and the fact that we really are missing a true right winger (though Kuyt has done quite well this season, I would still much rather see him played as a striker) - he would definitely have been an interesting player for us in my eyes. One could never tell though, if he would have been as good for us, as he has been for City this season. Perhaps he has just found his level? I don't know tbh, and I guess we'll never know now.

No way. The price would be 20M and above, If they're considering of selling him to us.
