Ronaldo's agent claims three more Premier League clubs have shown an interest in the Brazilian striker.

Forget it, he´s way past his sell by date and has a major attitude problem.

Adriano likewise has an attitude problem as well as domestic issues.

did anyone here about Benayoun going to man city and Elano coming to us? It also was mentioned that Steven Darby would go there in a cash plush player deal.

Not sure I'd like to see Darby leave to City as part of a player + cash deal for Elano. If however we were looking at Darby + cash for Michael Johnson or Steven Ireland.... :buttrock

I think Elano would do a job for us and if Yossi wants to go let him. From what I have seen Elano is as good as, if not better, than Yossi. He's freshen things up and offer us other attacking options.

Ireland is having a good season so far thats all , nothing spectacular about him , johnson though on the other hand is looking good , although he's injured now i think thus not getting games for city . Elano is a intelligent player , creative and can make things happen , would be great to have a midfield of elano , riera, alonso , masch , gerrard and kuyt

:Oo:

Ireland is one of the best players in the premierleague so far this season... hes been nothing short of brilliant... amazing talent and bags of ability cant see them letting him go anytime soon... Elano has his problems with Hughes but hes still a very very good player and better than most of what we have (Benny, Pennant, Babel, Lucas, Kuyt,ElZhar..etc)
He'd make a very good addition to the side simply because Gerrard is the only attacking midfielder with real quality we have atm... Elano is miles ahead of Benny and id campare him with the likes of Bullard and Jenas except more agile and better going forward..  We need someone like him against the smaller clubs he would offer different options and allow us to change the midfield shape no end ! is that a good thing ?

I watched Ireland the other day against Arsenal, and he was brilliant. His passing and his movement were top notch! everything Man city created came from him and Robinho.

Real Madrid to Make Shock Swoop for Liverpool Star?

He may be struggling to get into the Liverpool team, but Real Madrid have seen enough of Ryan Babel to consider making a bid for him.

Real Madrid are set to stun Liverpool Football Club with a New Year bid of £15million.
Reports in Spain suggest the Liga champions are keen to take Ryan Babel to the Bernabeu in January, as they look to compensate for the injury to Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The Dutchman, usually a winger but also comfortable in a central strike role, has been frustrated Anfield this season having started just once in the Premier League, but Rafael Benitez remains a fan.

With the Reds said to be looking to offload players to raise cash for their own foray into the transfer market, could they refuse £15million for a 21-year-old who is only on the fringes of the first team? (fansfc.com)

Babel is always touted as a player with masses of potential but he is struggling to make the first 11 and when he has been selected he looks disinterested and is very rarely effective. With Albert Riera making the left side of midfield his own, should Liverpool cash in on Babel to help strengthen at left back where Andrea Dossena has been a disaster?

:no if he go's we would be weaking the squad.....so unless Rafa has got a good replacement in mind then i don't think letting him go would do us any good.

Really??  I dont see Babel as a Liverpool player.  He has little or no first touch, struggles to beat a man, his decision making is very poor and his attitude stinks.. the only thing he has is a powerful shot.

I would be happy to sell him and get our money back.  He may come good but not for Liverpool as we dont seem to have a very good record of bringing young players on.

Get rid and buy a decent left back
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

im just thinking if Riera gets injured we aint really got anyone to replace him. Benyaoun always seems to drift in field and apart from him and Babel we dont have anyone else to replace him. But like i said if we can get someone in the transfer window them £15m would be interesting. Valencia from wigan would be good? cant think of anyone else at the moment???

If we sell Babel, I would be fine with us getting any one of the following Germans: Podolski, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Kroos, or Marin
