I dont agree, ive been in the minority on here for a while it seems on my opinion of Aurelio.
I think he is of the desired quality, he doesnt make many mistakes and is always bright in coming forward, with no problems getting back.
The only reason the Drossena debacle hasnt hurt us (we are joint top) is because we have Aurelio.
The problem is he normally plays his self into good form and then gets injured.
Could we get someone better? Maybe but when you take into account he was a free transfer I dont understand anyone who thinks he hasnt been a success. He never looks out of place in the big games either, which shows IMO he doesnt lack quality, I thought he was magic agaist chelsea and lets not forget had he not had to go off against them last season we might have got to another CL final.
What do you think he lacks mate?

His distribution against West Brom and Fulham was very good, and generally he's played very well, so he's a nailed on starter for me at present (also accounting for the lack of quality alternatives) .

Oh theres definitely room for improvement mate but I think his contribution has been much more possitive then negative.

Arbeloa has earned his contract to be extended IMHO, despite I never considered him my ideal RB for the team.

Agree with that. In the last 6-8 games he's come on leaps and bounds imo.
