No.

Carra and some of our defenders will opt for the aimless long balls again. We don't have attacking midfielders / wide players apart from Gerrard who can score on a regular basis and link up in the way that Rooney, Zaki, Cole etc can.

In the absence of that and Heskey's inability to score enough goals as a front-man, he is not an option for us, and there is no reason for him to want to play as 3rd option, especially when he starts for Wigan every game.

I'm not sure that he would care not playing for a top 4 side at this stage in his career if he can become an England regular especially since he is getting playing time at Wigan.

once again words of wisdom from Leon! i couldn"t agree more mate. we didn"t nickname him bruno for nothing!!

i don"t care how well he is doing for England, he isn"t good enough for LFC. i find it laughable we are even thinking about signing him.

1)Not starting him for most of the matches....he won't even make the bench for some matches (ie.....pennant)

2)Dropping him when he scores his 1st goal or is in a rich vein of form (Keane, crouch)

3)Play him as a LW (crouch, gerrard)

And lets not forget the fact that..... he scores even less goals than kuyt.....

A big NO for me...

yeh i know what u mean i wish we had a better manager then wed beable 2 play Heskey upfront all the time

Not good enough in my opinion, which is the reason we sold him in the first place, just another work horse who doesnt score enough goals :no
