I know I was certainly immensely let down when Ferri never set the Premier League alight with his scintillating brand of footballing verve and dynamism!

No, I don't think he did... was kind of my point...

Nevermind, I'm wasted here

*ties up belongings into knotted hankie attached to the end of a stick, rests it over his shoulder and walks into the sunset as the theme tune to the Littlest Hobo fades in...*

Collymore was a dissapointment, but at the same time he was an immense player who could have been up there with the very best. It is a shame that he was always ill, and it has taken up to now after he has stopped playing to sort himself.

It was a crying shame.

Diego Tristan. THe new West Ham signing.

I've seen few strikers with his class. Lack of proffessionalism led him from Spanish international status, to not having a team. He has been on trial for West Ham and he's been signed. Apparently Zola vouched for him.

I'd be happy if he recovered the love for football (excep against Liverpool) because he's a very good striker.

Agreed mate, when Deportivo were doing the business in the champions league some years back, he was very impressive indeed. Always wondered what all of the sudden happened to him, as he seemed so skillful and scored quite a few.
