Russia and Germany in the final.

you need to start checking those sources mate :D

Manhattan is never wrong. Manhattan was playing mind games.

Exactly.

Manhattan knew that predicting a Spanish exit would anger the Spanish players to the point where they would destroy Russia.

The Spanish team regularly reads these forums, particularly Manhattan's posts, and the Fit Birds thread.

Turkey has been really great in this tournament.  I've never seen a team with such passion and heart.  If our Liverpool team had those qualities than we would definitely be challenging for the title until the very end.

Also Arda is an excellent little player, who has a lot of potential.  He'd be great for us, but I have a feeling that he'll end up at Arsenal.

I think hed be great for us, And hed be cheap, Hes another player from the Galatasaray Academy thats been brought through and i think they could cash in on him,

His wages at the moment are 350,000 a year euros
And theve just offered him a wage increase to 850 , 000 EUROS a week, he signed a 5 year contract when he was 18 so he must be coming to the end of that now.

Arsenal are sniffing him out though

Emilio: I'm backing Fernando

Spanish legend Emilio Butragueno is backing Fernando Torres to guide Spain to Euro 2008 glory tonight - if he plays in the style of Rafael Nadal!

Nadal is revered in Spain for his never-say-die attitude and his willingness to fight for every single point on the tennis court.

Now Butragueno, one of Spain's greatest ever strikers, says his nation's footballers - including Torres - can learn from the Wimbledon star as they face Germany.

Butragueno, speaking in his role as ambassador for Euro 2008 sponsors Castrol, said: "Rafael Nadal is a big hero in Spain. The people love the way he never, ever gives up. If the football team can play the same way I think they can win.

"And as for Torres, I think he is on the verge of something special here. He has been substituted in recent games but he is due a big performance.

"There is a lot of excitement in Spain at the moment about Euro 2008 because it is a long time since we were in a final and we haven't won anything since 1964. The fans are very excited about this team.

"Beating Italy on penalties in the quarter-finals was a big thing for us because of losing so many times before that way. Now it is like a weight has gone from our shoulders.

"But it will be very tough because Germany are a great team. We have to believe in ourselves."

Classy and clever striker indeed. He was so classy that he was spared from insults even in pitchs of archenemies, such was the respect this man had. A gentleman and a great footballer.

Image

He's not the classic Spanish footballer that doesn't read a book and has not culture, he's educated and a rara habis in a football pitch, I never saw him losing the plot and making a nasty tackle. These days he makes public relationships jobs both for Real Madrid and other business.
