Even SWP would have been worth a gamble , undiclosed fee , so i'd guess somewhere between 6 to 10 million .

Stoke offered 7.5 million for both pennant and hypia , don't know how reliable is this

I just read on various French and Dutch sites that French team FC Nantes are very interested in signing Voronin. Does anyone know anything about this?

Andriy Voronin should bring the goals to FC Nantes.  The French club, which started poorly in the competitiestart, wants the forefront loskweken at Liverpool. At Anfield Road is hardly Voronin to the bucket by fierce competition.

The French L'Equipe reports that Nantes has extensive interest in the Ukrainians, who would have ears to a transfer. The doctoral candidate is bad off came in Ligue 1 and already promised after three competitierondes confidence in coach Michel Der Zakarian.

Nantes next has also expressed interest in Daniel Cousin. The attacker, who appeared earlier in France for RC Lens, is currently under contract with Glasgow Rangers. Nantes drew with Ivan Klasnic already an established name inside.

I'm completely aware of the fact that this is a strange question, but what is 'whack-yourself-off material'?

As expected Milner has joined Villa. Can't say I'm too upset about this, as I wouldn't want him here for the price being bandied around anyway. Just hope he doesn't have a blinder on his debut this sunday.

Why did we not buy Arshavin instead of Keane?  He just proves time and time again that he can play at the highest level.  It's just a shame that he might end up at Totenham or some other small team.

Yeah, but did you see him against the champions of English premier league today?  If Keane is worth 20 mill, than Arshavin is worth 30 mill minimum.
