Well, you can talk about underwhelming summer.
Very soon August and our net spend is in the negative numbers.

When everyone wants Silva or Keane we get thrown N'Gog and his 1 league goal in 20 games.
And unless we get Alonso sold it seems there won't be much money at all.
I sure would like to know how the optimists think when
you can actually believe we'll challenge this season when nothng has changed at all since last season...
And that was with Gerrard and Torres healthy the whole season!
If this is how the yanks run a club with no net spend allowed
we won't win the league anytime soon.

In about 5-10 years our young players that win the reserve league every year and youth teams that get us into the FA youth cup final all the time are gonna lead us to the Premiership Title

Well, I'm one of those "have low expectations from the off so I can only be pleasantly surprised"

But to be honest I was more positive before last season when we had Torres, Babel and Masch all ready for their full 1st season.

What should I be positive about now?

Dege, NGog, Dossena, Cavalieri for a combined 10 million? when we actually have sold

Crouch, Risse, Carson, Guthrie for 20 million?

What will improve?

Can't ask more from Torres. And then there is this stinking olympics which will see us miss 3-4 players at the start of the season.

What makes me feel like :censored:

is the fact that

A. Chelsea have got DECO, BOSINGWA and likey to get ROBINO

B. Arsenal have got NASRI and som1 else good cant remember though

C. Utd havnt bought any1 yet but they are good atm and are likely to sign som1 very good.

We on the other hand have got no1 yet. Yh we have DOESSENA and DEGAN yes but we need atleast 2 big names to really compete this year. We need KEAN at least and absolutly need SILVA. Both are within reach of us finacially especially if we trade ALONSO to Valencia in a swap deal.

If it goes 1 more week without us signing som1 then i might just walk out infront of a bus
