My mate a County fan has just rang to say we are playing them on the 22nd July so he is going to get me a ticket, do we play CL Qualifiers around that time ? Is there any chance of any of our 'New" signings or first team players making an appearance in the match if we arent playing Qualifiers.

Is anyone else going ?

As far as I recall CL qualifiers are around the start of the season.

2007/8 : villa, Toulouse, Chelsea, Sunderland, Toulouse
2006/7 : M Haifa, Chelsea (CS), Sheff U, M Haifa
2005/6 : Had three rounds of qualifying
2004/5 : Graz, Spudz, Citeh, Graz
2003/4 : UEFA Cup

I think the qualifiers like owzat has said are later , after all the friendlies are sorted , i think we will get a chance to see degen and maybe dossena play if his signing has become official for the club

Made up here i couldnt get a ticket to go the Tranmere game but ive just been sorted .My daughter has fixed me up from a good mate of hers who plays for Tranmere so even though ill be sitting with the Tranmere fans ill get to see us play before i go off on my holiday jaunt. Made up

Stockport County have offered to refund fans who have already bought tickets for their home pre-season friendly against Liverpool.

The Premier League outfit will field a reserve side instead of the promised star-studded line-up in the match on Saturday, 26 July.

The Edgeley Park club have already sold around 1,500 tickets for the game.

Managing director Mark Maguire told the club website: "Liverpool have apologised and offered recompense."
