Stockport offer Liverpool refund
 
Stockport County have offered to refund fans who have already bought tickets for their home pre-season friendly against Liverpool.

The Premier League outfit will field a reserve side instead of the promised star-studded line-up in the match on Saturday, 26 July.

The Edgeley Park club have already sold around 1,500 tickets for the game.

Managing director Mark Maguire told the club website: "Liverpool have apologised and offered recompense."

Interestingly it doesn't show in the BBC's fixtures for Stockport! (or Liverpool!)
