I think hed run all the way to Liverpool if he knew we wanted him
Keane has already turned down the chance to join us twice Nanny, maybe third time lucky. Problem with him is he doesn't play well with a partner, maybe that could work though as supposedly Torres can't play with a partner either.
He seemed to do pretty well with Berbatov last season mate.
The two goals he scored at anfield (although poor defending) where both scored after flick ons from Berbatov.
Keane has 10 assists in 3 seasons - Berbatov has 18 assists in 2 seasons, while scoring more goals too!

Saint i wasnt comparing Keane with Berabatov mate, just saying that they linked well. The play as a partnership not just two strikers who get goals for themselves.

Juventus are linked with Roma’s Alberto Aquilani and Galatasaray’s Arda Turan as it appears increasingly likely that Xabi Alonso could stay at Liverpool although nothing seems definite at the moment.
The Turin giants are apparently not happy with the price tag the Reds have put on Spain midfielder Alonso, and as such are looking at other players.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are once again taking a look at Aquilani situation as the Italy international is said to be not entirely happy at Roma, but is also linked with Inter Milan.
Turkey international Turan is now being eyed up by several clubs following impressive performances at the Euro 2008 where his country is in the semi-finals. He is also linked with Arsenal.

I wasn't comparing them Ace, just showing (trying anyway) that Keane doesn't make many goals for his partners 3ish per season. Put him with Torres (4 assists) and they aren't going to make a lot of goals for each other imo.
I would prefer a creative second striker who scores about 12/15 and makes about 15.
I think he would be an ideal sub when Torres isn't fit, but I don't think they would make a good partnership if played together, but maybe they could score enough for it not to matter too much?
