Nihat was a former RS player right sabre? Turkey have to take the gmae to the germens if not they will lose . Germans have too much going forward , so they can't give them the chance to attack

Has anyone else noticed that Sky Sports News are almost entirely ignoring the existence of EURO 2008?

I mean seriously.

It seems since the start of the tournament that the only sports that exist according to Sky Sports News are cricket and rugby.

Yep Toffeehater it was a John Benjamin Toshack's personal bet.

To be honest, it's amazing the good eye Toshack has for signing ups, I struggle to remember a signing up of Toshack that was wrong, Karpin, Nihat, Kovacevic, almost most of them unknown before coming to Spain and all pretended by bigger clubs.

Oh, Toshack was the one who said Xabi Alonso could not be on loan and brought it to the first team. He knows his football the stubborn Welsh.

He gave him his debut Sabes as a youngster with Besiktas when he was in charge there an took him with him when he left.

Dissapointing first half that!
Russia the better team with better chances and could be 1 or 2 up only for Van der Sar.
Holland need to forget about being cautious and play their own attacking game or they could get a shock.Im surprised how negative they have been!

Holland will win.

Yes, Russia is playing better, but they're so naive in the back, that I'd find difficult Holland doesn't win if they get sorted a couple of things. That's what happened in the first game, a good team that got punnished for being naive when faced two great strikers.

However when they have the ball they're better than Holland, and they're knowing how to stop Holland's game so far.

Very poor first half by Holland they look very nervous they dont look comfortable on the ball at all. I agree Dirks been non existant but so have a few others.

Still think theyll win though
