I appreciate Riise and it doesn't surprise me a team of a decent size like Roma wants him.

I'm grateful to his stamina, and his long shots.

How much do we get for him?

good servant to the club.  a great player who I think has probably just seen his best days gone.

5million... euros of pounds?

loved the guy, made me a lot of money when he first came (was 33s first goal scorer first 2 times he scored 1st) and hes only 26 so hes doing whats right for him as well

Good luck to him. He scored some memorable goals for us. The belter against Birminagham in the FA Cup and cant forget that screamer against Utd.

He played his :censored: of in Istanbul aswell. Killer cross to set up Stevie for that 1st goal.

All the best JAR. A good servant to the club over the years and hope he has a good time over in Roma and dosent come back to haunt us!

He also made me plenty of money in first goal scorer bets. In the early days he could be backed at 33/1, 25/1 and 20/1 until they eventually copped on.

This is unconfirmed. Liverpool FC have allowed Roma to begin talks with JAR, it hasn't been confirmed anywhere that he has signed or a transfer fee has been accepted.

Hes having a medical now a fee has been agreed it was on Setanta news.
