Do any of these foreign buggers know how to play football or do the journos just get out the Milan or Madrid area phone book and start typing their madeup shitenzehousen?

Yer know, for once in my life I'd like to have actually heard of one of these fantastic players being  constantly associated with the best club in europe ffs.

Sounds more like a list of YTS if you ask me.

And whilst we're at it, WTF is Fontaine? Sounds like he should be working in a woman's hairdressers.

Barcelona have signed Sevilla midfielder Seydou Keita for a fee of £11 million. It had been rumoured that Liverpool were targeting the Malian.

Keita only signed for Sevilla last season from French outfit RC Lens but has obviously had a very successful season at the La Liga side thus triggering interest from Barcelona. The centre midfielder has made over 20 appearances for his national side of Mali bagging 3 goals in the process.

It was thought Rafa Benitez was pondering a move for the 28 year old but I personally feel that Liverpool have sufficient cover in that position with Alonso(Should we hold onto him), Mascherano, Lucas and young Damien Plessis coming through.

The uncertainty of Manchester City boss Sven Goran-Errikson’s future and the newspaper reports that Shinawatra will put his whole side up for sale could attract Rafael Benitez’s eye.

Martin Petrov who constantly troubled Liverpool with his pace in the game at Eastlands earlier in the year has attracted Rafa Benitez’s eye with scouts sent to watch him and should Gareth Barry agree a £75,000 new contract with Aston Villa, the Spaniard will make a bid for the Bulgarian.

Having Stewart Downing also on the possible left-wing signings, the paciest is the Bulgarian. It remains to be seen however if the ludicrous offer of £10m plus Carson, Riise and Crouch will be increased to speculated Newspaper fees of £15m plus Carson and Crouch with £4m of Riise’s sale to Newcastle.

Jermaine Pennant, Steve Finnan and Sebastien Leto could leave after losing their places in the side. Benitez could try to fund a move for Barry by offloading these 3 but should Barry decide to stay in the Midlands, a move for Petrov who is unhappy at the certainty seems likely.

I think if Crouch had a couple of years left on his contract Rafa would be asking around the right price £12/15million, but as he is in his last year I think we will be lucky if we get £8/10million for him.

If he decides to stay we are well and truely fkd, we either sit him in the reserves for 12 months or risk playing an angry and unhappy player. Either way he walks away for nothing in 12months time!

Well Dossena came out and said that he wants to join Liverpool.  So it's up to Coco now to seal the deal.  Lets hope that he doesn't :censored: it up.

If Crouch is going to be awkward then I'd sit him in the reserves for a season.  :censored: him.  He needs to remember what club and what manager made him into an International and gave him his shot at the big time.

The problem is though John, it would cost us a lot of money to do that. He is probably on at least £40k per week , and then he walks away for nothing.

I would prefer to sell him for £8million if it comes to the crunch, but really it should have been all sorted LAST SEASON. In this day and age you can't afford to let players run down their contracts, as we have found out in the past with Macmanaman and Owen.

Liverpool should give africa a miss, I dont see how any Malian, Camerooony or Chadian would fit into our set up. I would hope our previous wonder buys proves the point.

And no, Cameroony is not Wayne Rooney's brother.......

Liverpool close in on £25m man who could make Rafa’s men title chasers
May 28, 2008
Liverpool are once again supposedly nearing the signing that could well put them back in the title race as Rafa looks for a strike partner who fits well with the fantastic Fernando Torres, and this woudl really be a match made in heaven!

Valencia stars David Villa and David Silva have revealed they are prepared to leave El Mestalla this summer if the club accepts bids from chasing clubs. (Setanta Sports) Liverpool are said to be favourites to land the £25m rated Spanish international hotshot (various)
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
