I hated them parma violets them coloured swizzells though came in handy, Before dabbers or felties became available we used to use swizzells to cover over the numbers in the bingo you had to take loads of packets with you though cause you kept eatin them. Was that the sachet stuff were you sprinkled some on your tongue and it crackled and felt like it was jumping all over your tongue?

indeed it is, and it was even funnier when fed to our dog    :D

Can you still get that? - a lot of the sweets we had then are still about - double dip and refresher lollys etc.

Yeah I was always out playing footy, when I got to 16 I was up at 6 to bike to work for 7, leave at 5 bike home (hour ride each time) then get changed and go for a footy match on our local footy field. Sometime just a kick about with the local lads others a match.

Couldnt do it now mind, id die off a heart attack biking around the corner ! :D

paper rounds! frigging slave labour now i think of it. i used to get up at 6.30am, work for about an hour or hour and a half, go to school, come back, work for another hour or more on the evening papers, then go home and do homework. sundays were the worst as it was the time when the magazines and supplements were just starting - my sunday round was 3 bags!!

and all for the princely sum of £6.70 a week. 'kin 'ell!! :no

1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.
