We used to think it was great to walk down to the Walkers Art Gallery and the Museum and then shoot over to St Johns Gardens and play tick. We were very cultured kids in Liverpool in them days. It was all free and we used to get chaseys from the men who worked in there,

I used to hate going round to me nannas house cause shed always say go down the cella and get us a shovel of coal i hated it down there.

Gettin up Suday mornin and have to go to ten oclock mass with out any brekkie cause we had to have communion id be starvin

i remember once me and a couple of mates got chased by the vicars dog because we were trying to nick apples out of the church yard, think it was the anciest church of toxteth at the bottom of park road.

I was a good girl still am exept from when im at the match then i turn into well yeh dont wanna know :laugh:

I remember when they used to have a May prossesion were wed parade up and down Soho St and Great Homer St and then down to Gerrard Gardens in white friily dresses and then when the parade was finished wed go round all the family and show yeh best dress of an get money . I used to end up loaded :laugh:

Sorry if noone knows which streets or were im goin on about but im ramblin

must of been some badly dressed lot in your family then (ducks awaiting slap)

i remember goin up parly, smithdown n lodge lane on me bike. tell ya what, those areas were and still are grim.

The man from Atlantis, used to love that programme . Every time we went the baths we used to try and do his swim . Just ended up looking like a bit of a kn@b.

Talking of going the baths , you know when Jaws first came out , didn't yer just sh!t yourself abit when you first went for a swim after watching it . Cos it was a possibilty that Jaws could come out of the grid at the bottom of the pool and get you

or was that just me?
