What an insane suggestion. Its absoloutely stupid to suggest a player at a side outside the top three is good enough to play for Liverpool...

:no

It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he plays for Reading.

It has everything to do with the fact, however, that he is Dave Kitson. Simple as that.

good to see your opinions working overtime again. putting your neck on the line by suggesting someone.

David Villa is your choice from the little input you've made and from what I can gather. I can't quite remember if that was after 70% of people had suggested him or 75%.

2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

He is a Footballers Footballer.

"Diego of Werder Bremen is top, top quality and he scores plenty of goals - he's probably our best bet I'd say and quite possibly within the £10-12m bracket if we haggled well, although probably more like £15m."

Not to mention the numerous others I commented on.

The number of times your arguments have fallen flat on their face is innumerable.

Note: Perhaps it's you who's the idiot and not the 75%?

nope it's not me mate. I'm the one who said we'd never win the league under Benitez at the start of the year and I was questioned with "is it"

Are those the same 70 to 75% who actually take an interest in football outside of England and are thus in a position to intelligently comment on the suitability of foreign players rather than blithely dismiss them as a gamble, whilst plumping for some lad who's tearing up Division 2? ???

Slightly off topic, but do we want a striker to play with torres, or instead of (injuries, banned, rested). I think if we keep to the current formation we may be looking more for players who support from midfield,  rather than a lead the line CF.  In which case maybe we should look at someone like David Bently, or Roysten Dreneth (spelling?).
Gerrard is scoring plenty playing off Torres, but what is plan B ?  If he doesn't play do we revert to 4-4-2, in which case I'd be quite happy with Crouch, or Bable up front with Torres, and two  wingers. Of which we need to buy a the very least another Left wing, unless that young Morrocan lad is ready for the first team. Or will Leto be our secret wepon next season ?
Let's face it there aren't that many CF worth buying.

I agree with someone else a few pages back - Andy Gudjohnson would be more than handy to partner Torres.

I take an interest in football outside of england, which is why I suggested Steve Fletcher who plays for Hibs who are in Scotland which isn't england. So you're wrong there bob.

Also I have much more intelligence than most to judge a lad "who's tearing up divison 2" like most on here have more intelligence than me to say who from abroad would be good signings. I don't dismiss any suggestion from abroad because I don't know them all that well, so I read them closely to have an idea of what we're signing. If it's someone I've never heard of i.e. Fabiano I read it alot more closely. Give me some sort of idea, so I prefer to see people throw names forward rather than sit there and say why other players wouldn't be up to it. So again I don't dismiss names being put forward (unless I have a fair knowledge of their ability) and yes I say they're gambles because every transfer is.
