Steve Fletcher, Miroslav Klose or Benni McCarthy depending on what type of forward we're looking for.

If you're looking for a poacher who knows how to score and is still learning then pick Fletcher.
If you're looking for a forward who'll hustle and bustle but can still score then pick Klose.
If you're looking for a forward to turn to knowing he can pop up with the odd goal then pick McCarthy.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

If you're looking for a top quality second striker then don't sign any of them.

Gerrard seems pretty perfect in the hole role imo.

Wouldnt mind seeing Klas Van come here as another striker.

David Bentley would also be perfect for our forward/winger formation we have going on at the minute.

Think the guy is class, and he wouldnt be another Pennant.

Also heres an article on Bentley, seems the type of player that should be playing for us.

Dave Kitson at Readings an excellent player, he's just got a very questionable temperament from what I've heard him say and what he's said in interviews etc.

Another player who'd improve the team though and has the ability to score goals and link up with others.

Kitson? Holy :censored:. Talk about lowering out standards.

I mean, should we not be talking about class players that are on the world stage? If Liverpool is going to start dominating things then they need to start acting seriously when it comes to acquisitions (not to say that they haven't in the last year because I think they have been starting to). But to throw a name out there like Kitson just shows that some people are thinking backwards.

Still think Eidur Gudjohnson is the right option, and could come at a good price. He isn't getting much first team football at barca, and could improve the first team signficantly.

He is a Footballers Footballer.

Yeah, you're probably right, how on earth could a player at Reading possibly be good enough for a top side?

What an insane suggestion. Its absoloutely stupid to suggest a player at a side outside the top three is good enough to play for Liverpool...
