American fan in trouble - How can i view the reds in america?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby L-type » Mon Aug 09, 2004 1:35 am

I'm a big fan of the Reds, and I currently have a Dish Network System, and they offer an EPL subscription. I figure that would be ok, untill I saw the price ! $300 American or roughly $180 Pounds.  Anyone know a way to watch The Reds fpr cheaper? (Not including stealing Satellite Signals)  Any help would be appreciated.

How many Liverpool matches would you be able to view.  If it's anything like the pay-to-view over in the UK, I think it's only 3-4 before Christmas.

Contact the nearest LFC supporters club and arrange it so a load of you chip in and share the costs.

Apart from that get a flight to Britain and spend the season working in a bar and going to the live games  :D

It supposedly gives me all the games in the premiership, but there are no soccer supporters in Virginia, none the less Reds Supporters.  The E-ticket, does that let me watch the games live?  But actually with my current television I get 2 or 3 games a week on Fox SPORTS World. But that is usually for the people who have jumped on the Arsensal Bandwagon.  Thanks for your feedback thus far.

So I can only watch select games if I purchase the e-ticket? How does this work?

Go onto the official liverpool website www.liverpoolfc.tv The e-season ticket costs close to £50 and you get to see all the home games on the internet, but the coverage isn't particularly clear.I purchased it to watch the pre season friendlies and saw one half of the Wrexham match.
There must be other ways of getting to see the reds in action.I certainly don't recommend the e-season ticket.Keep in touch on this forum because other members live in the USA and they may have a few ideas.

i understand your anxiety about hacking-- the pay for views on dish network aren't that good-- investigate if you can get express vu legally from canada-- its a dish clone and follows the same path -- it shows the pay for views for free-- and the sunday games -- it used to show alot of liverpool games but you get alot of games -- all of the champions tour were free-- just an idea

How much effort and money would it cost to get express vu as a supplement to my current Dish Network setup?  Actually, if need be I would be willing to steal canadian signals as they have no jurisdiction in the States, but I would prefer to do things in a legitimate fashion.

 as i know nothing about hacking signals-- they tell me that the hack is basically the same as the reciever is the same -- its ma bell's system so people are really scared to do it -- I AM LEGAL SEE MY BILLS -- the
express vu can't be piggy backed as the azimuth  is different--also again i don't know but people tell me that the porn is WAY BETTER -- many more stations and laxer standards -- if you're interested
