No it wont Tom Hicks and his dodgey past has made sure of that.
Even Dirty Den is more trustable than this con merchant.

I know where your coming from but its looking increasingly likely that we are stuck with the kunts!

The only positive thing i can see and keep telling myself is that they are in it for the profit and if they want to make profit they are going to have to win major things and often!

Either way Parry and Moores have a lot of answering to do and should be deeply ashamed!
The dollar signs at the start of all this blinded them from the facts and they forgot to do their research into these two crooks.

It was all just too good to be true! :no

I would rather go on a date with Ted Bundy than have Tom Hick remain our owner.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

im sure moores and parry with hindsight would change there minds about these two, lets not forget its probably down to those two that the whole amount was not put against the club, be thank full we have people on the board to fight for us.

Feeney they have to go I cannot support Liverpool if these two remain our owners I just cant.

I was referring more to the direction they will take with regard to the naming rights of the stadium rather than their position within the club, but I see your point.

For what its worth mate, I don't think Hicks & Gillett wil be at the helm much longer and that DIC will buy the club, new stadium plan and all. However, if they do stay you will still support this club for the simple fact that you'll never have the same love for another club like you do for Liverpool (God, i've become a head shrink now  :upside: ). And I know you can't give up football altogether!  :D

I've read a lot of material over the last few weeks on the matter of our ownership and direction and I'd like to think i've looked at both points of view, while trying to stay objective. Things that Hicks and Gillett have done and said have been borderline stupid, but a lot of things have simply been down to naivety and being willing to say too much at the wrong time. Rafa's not innocent either and he had his hand to play. However, for the good of the club whatever the outcome of a possible proposed takeover by DIC or Hicks and Gillett staying, I wish it to be a swift ending as this season that had started with so much promise, has been completely undermined by squabbles at board room level which (and I don't care what anyone says, you think your boss is getting the sack, it has an effect on your performance in work, same principle) has most certainly wrecked our players and ruined what could have been a League winning team.

Back to the topic at hand, however, the sooner this stadium is built, the better as we desperately need to move on and leave this near 10 year stadium nightmare behind us. Oh yeah, and make sure we leave Parry in the old stadium when it gets demolished as well!

Fight for us ??
It was those two idiots that got us here in the first place mate!
They jumped in too quick, they smelt the money and that compromised logical thinking.

Look at all the shi.te has been dragged up from America about the way these two clowns work?
If Parry and Moores had have taken a bit of time to look behind the scenes they would have seen the warning signs...Unfortunately the promise of big money was more important

Maybe your right mate!

But i still hold Moores and Parry partly responsible for the mess the club is in
They opted to sell to these two whilst having other options

I dont whole them partly responsible they are 100% to blame for letting these :censored: in particular Parry i thought Moores had more sense than that but to be taken in by Parry and these two f.ucking con artists  unbelievable.

I think ill be in the ground in Anfield before this stadium gets built and ive said before i just cant see us being the only ones using it. These two are only interested in money not LFC thats why i can see other events and the stadium being used regularly by others to generate this/

I can imagine it also being filled with seperate franchises Wendys, KFC, Maccies, big :censored: steak rib houses the lot if it does get built they better have a meat pie place there :D

Dunno mate?

Are you trying to suggest that a sponsor could pay for the construction of the stadium?

The Carlsberg stadium?

Probably the best team in the world!

Or Carlsberg dont make football teams but if they did they'd make Liverpool?
:D

More chance of it getting called the Taco Bell arena!

i don't mind it being sponsored as long as it has a proper name as well. think of the bt cellnet riverside, or the friends provident st mary's stadium. we could have (for example) the adidas anfield stadium, or the tampax stanley park. they all end up getting known by their proper name after a short time anyway

but i certainly don't want a sponsor's name only, eg the emirates, or the ricoh stadium, no matter how much money's on offer. the sad thing is you just know that c0ckend hicks doesn't give a monkey's about anfield unless he can make some money out of it so expect us to be playing at the krispy kreme donuts arena from 2011

Dunno MHP, but Arsenal got £100 Mil:-

From Wikipedia

It was announced on 5 October 2004 that the Emirates Stadium will be known as such for at least the first 15 years after the club agreed a £100m sponsorship deal with Emirates Airline. This sum also includes payments for an eight-year shirt sponsorship by Emirates, starting in the 2006–07 season.

We definately have a larger global fan base than Arsenal, surely we could get more cash than that.
