I'm a bit wary at the moment about signing players from Holland that look class or have good goalscroing records over there after seeing how Kuyt has turned out. Plus I haven't really seen that much of him to make a judgement.

This dude is Swiss but I think comes from Albania, which apparently is the same deal for Idrizaj, cept he moved to Austria at a young age, also have heard that our two young Swedes, Ajdarevic and Kacaniclic are actually from Kosovo(but of Albanian descent) and Serbia respectively, do know much about Eastern European or Balkan names so I couldn't comment.

Also in case you haven't read elswhere we have also signed Alex Cooper from Scotland as well as Finnish youngster Lauri Dalla Valle, but I haven't seen either of them play in any academy games.

A big no no on (No)lan (sorry for that one :down:

). Huntelaar would be interesting though. From what I've seen of him, he seems as a natural goalscorer (who doesn't run around OUTSIDE the box but stays near the goal). Doubt we'll spend that much on a striker in this window though, but here's hoping anyway.

United and Liverpool chase Milan star
According to various papers today, Liverpool and United are interested in signing AC Milan striker Ronaldo.

Milan are about to release the Brazilian striker and rumour has it that both United and Liverpool are interested in signing the player as a free agent.

Ronaldo joined AC back in 2007 after leaving Real Madrid, where he scored over 80 goals in in just under 130 games for the club.

Ronaldo has been ravaged by injuries in recent months and has hardly played. AC are reluctant to offer the 31-year old a new contract due to Ronaldo's continuing fitness issues.

He wants to move, and he won't lack candidates to sign him up. He's in a lower class compared to Torres but at his standard, he'd be much more prolific than our strikers have been this season -- bar Torres.

Soldado is a player that would be a key player in a mid-top team, the likes of Newcastle, and a good secondary for a top club like this.

I'm quite sure he'll move in this transfer window.

What's the opposite to evolution? involution? that's Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was thin and fast in Barcelona until his knee injury. He got streghty and developed muscles in Italy.

He developed muscles and a bit of fat when he came back to Spain.

And now he's developed the fat further and has lost aswell the mood to run and train.
