The player himself. Earlier in the summer when rumours about him going to Madrid and Milan were flying around he said he will stay at least for one more year and the club said he wont be sold.  They only just let ribery go and wont sell Nasri just yet.  Trust I would love him here.  The kid is class, pure class but he wont be moving on for now.

Nasri will stay with us, insist Marseille

Written by: AFP

MARSEILLE, France (AFP) - Marseille insisted Friday that their French international striker Samir Nasri, touted as the "new" Zinedine Zidane, will remain at the club this season.

Rumours have abounded that Spanish giants Real Madrid will move for Nasri, 20, if they fail to net AC Milan's Kaka.

"Nasri is a Marseille player and he will stay for the whole season. The club want to keep him and he wants to stay," a Marseille spokesman said.

Nasri, French young player of the year, has previously indicated he plans to stay at the Stade Velodrome for this season at least. He has two years on his contract to run.

In Friday's La Provence newspaper, Nasri's agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes, again confirmed that his player wanted to stay in southern France.

"I'll say it again for the nth time. Samir took his decision a good time ago already: he will play for Marseille this season and through to the end," Bernes said.

"There can be pressure from no matter what kind of big club over the coming weeks but Samir will not change his mind."

This was from the L'om website in May:

Samir Nasri believes that leaving Marseille would be a huge mistake and has brushed off reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid in the summer.

The 19-year-old French starlet has been inspirational in helping his team to qualify for the UEFA Champions League and is keen to test himself against the continent's best teams next term.

Madrid have been monitoring Nasri's form this season, that earned him a call up to the French squad in March, and were said to be weighing up a bid, although he has heard nothing.

"Nobody has contacted me, but my wish, at this moment, is to stay another season at L'OM," he explained to Marseille's official website.

"I want to play in the Champions League with L'OM. After that, we will see.

"I have two years on my contract, and I am really happy here."

The Spanish giants' plans have been scuppered, however, as the player himself believes that he is too young to move abroad.

"I am 19 and I don't know a lot of youngsters who have stood out in a foreign country at that age," he continued.

"It would be madness on my part to leave. I still have to prove myself in Ligue 1.

"I have lived up to expectations this season but next year, I want to go to the next level.

"I want to experience other leagues, but not at the moment."

Why don't Liverpool try again for Alves his move to chelsie seems to have hit a sticky patch why not get in there now and show the rest of the prem we can conpete on the finacial level.

Best sceniro we get Alves.
Worst sceniro we drive the price up even more for chelsie.

Price tag?  The reason chelsea are stalling is due to seville's demands.  We wouldnt pay £12 mil last season.

Liverpool snap up Hungarian keeper Gulacsi
tribalfooball.com - August 15, 2007

Liverpool have snapped up Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.

The 17-year-old is a product of the Sandor Karoly Academy, which is associated with MTK Budapest - Liverpool's Hungarian feeder club, who they signed a co-operation deal with earlier this year.

Gulacsi has been training with Liverpool for the last ten days and has done enough to secure his move.

"I woke up and went to bed day by day with the thought that I have the chance to became a Liverpool player," Gulacsi told skysports.com.

"My agents informed me that other clubs from Europe and from the Premiership had been watching me but my desire was to come to Liverpool.

"In March, Pepe Reina sent me a pair of his signed keeper gloves and I admit, that time it was only a very secret dream of mine that one day I would train with him.

"Since then it's like I was in a dream world."

Gulacsi admits he had his doubts as to whether he could earn his move to Liverpool.

"When I first came here there were a great number of goalkeepers [at Liverpool] and honestly I didn't think that I could sign with Liverpool during this transfer period but my agents kept reassuring me," he continued.

"When I was told I would get a contract from Liverpool my happiness was unlimited."

Liverpool eyeing Grenoble kid Feghouli
tribalfooball.com - August 16, 2007

Liverpool are moving for Grenoble teenager Sofiane Feghouli.
French sources say the 17 year-old midfielder could join Liverpool before the summer transfer window shuts.

Feghouli is keen on a switch to Anfield and believes it would be a better career move than remaining with Grenoble.
