What's interesting is the design of the Kop. The current Kop roof slopes down, so much in fact, that you only see just above the goal of the Annie Road end if you're at the back. The new roof curves over the Kop. I'm wondering if this has been designed with the acoustics of the stadium taken into consideration thus further emphasising the Kop choir. That's really clever if that's the case.

Love it- nothing like the usual bowl style stadiums- plenty of room to expand and if they do keep the corners open it'll be great to see the pitch from the outside on non-match days- i presume you won't have a view of matches though!!

Great work you've done us proud!!

...it's a shame they haven't got over-head shots or a proper virtual tour of how it will look as the pictures aren't overly clear- although can't complain as it'll be better than Wembley when it's finished!!

I love the unique design though. The "bowl" design is becoming so generic.

Fella's on the tv were saying that "Liverpool have permission for a 60'000 seater, the gaps may be where they plan to expand should they be given permission to extend the capacity.

The exterior is certainly unique (for a footy stadium)but can't say I'm totally sold on it.

looks great on the inside I suppose but it doesnt have that killer intimidating "Colleseum" look about it from the outside that I was hoping for. Doesnt even look like a stadium from the outside really.
Looks nice... It'll never be Anfield though :(

Looks groovy, the main thing is increased capacity which means increased revenue. :buttrock  :buttrock  :pirate

I know we have to move on but I'm really gonna miss Anfield, the history and tradition will never be replaced, well not in our lifetime :(

Not sure what to think, certainly not what I expected. ???
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.
