People were writing exactly the same stuff about Ronaldo two seasons ago.

Very good point.

Quaresma defiintely has skill and he looks very much like the type of player that C. Ronaldo is, without the diving.

I think that Quaresma would be a very good pick for Liverpool. We need someone fast, cutting in and pushing hard to the net. We have players already who can deliver a good cross - we are always so worried about how well we play in the air however I think to have some players like Quaresma that can move around on the pitch with the ball on the ground is an asset.

Come on Queresmo is a world class Winger..
Is worth 20m alone without a doubt. Now we have money to burn he is the player we should be buying!!  By the sounds of things we have a great chance of getting him. So i hope Rafa does the decent thing and goes all out to get this lad.

Look at Ronaldo......

From people in Portugal Quraesmo is even better....

Cant let this one fall through the net...

A bit out of your depth arnt you judging player potential? Run out of rumors have we ?  :D

Like I said I havent seen much of him to comment but the Portugese league isnt exactly the most challaging in Europe. I remember Mario Jardel used to score for fun like Hartson at Celtic. Means nothing.

Would prefer Quarasema but ryan babel ain't bad....

I read an actual quote from Babel somewhere saying he is staying put this season but he said "one day I will play for Arsenal"

I dont think Babel is going anywhere yet.  Why do people doubt Qurasema?  What more do you want from a winger?  If not him then who?  Its not like we can go and get Lionel Messi.

mancini is as good as quaresma if not better, quaresma is without a doubt a very very good player, only he is used to the spanish and portuguese game and the slight problem is like ronaldo, theyre brought up 2 dive, and it takes them a few seasons to settle in like ronaldo, but if it were up 2 me i would love to see quaresma in a red shirt, only if i were to buy a winger, which i could use on either side, and was young like quaresma i would take fernando gago http://video.google.com/videopl....index=1
or ali karimi (on free transfer list) http://video.google.com/videopl....index=0

Gago only signed for Real in January.  Karimi has signed for a side in the Middle East

Looking at that Quaresma video on youtube, he certainly looks a decent player.  I just don;t get carried away when I hear a guy is a class winger as last summer we thought Gonzalez was going to be the answer to our winger problems.

Since youtube is quite the rage on the forum just now check out this video I made of my local soccer club. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDY_tL_N5d4

The :censored: scums are bidding for tevez .... the only way to upstage them is to sign Quaresma. Quaresma would eat ronaldo up. No competiton.

If we sign Quaresma, our average attack suddenly becomes great. Thats how good he is.

Sometimes (like what stu has mentioned) when u see someone play, u know he is a world class player. It doesn't really matter which league he plays in. I saw him play against chelsea last season. And he totally ran the show for porto (actually he was the only one in the porto team who got past chelsea players with ease).

Some people have said that he is to selfish. That may be the case in Porto lets be honest he is a huge fish in a quickly dimenshing pool get him with big players like Stevei Gerrard Alonso Torres players who have huge reputations then i think you will see more of a team player who still has a shed load of skills.

See some videos of him against Porto and you will often see him always in the ground. Sometimes Chelsea players made hard tackles but he was a litte diver...

He does go down easily but its a different culture.  That wouldnt stop me signing someone with so much ability.

If Quaresma gets in Liverpool he maybe arrive there with an injury...in a training of Porto in Holland he injured his letf thigh but nobody knows if it's serious.
