Three upfront sounds good but who would we play in the middle with Gerrard who could we afford to drop let's see who we bring in first before we start guessing what formation Rafa will play but three is a very exciting prospect with the form Baros is in.

3 strikers can only work when at least one of the players prefers to play deeper and play more as a creater- i think that Baros, Cisse and Owen all prefer to be the out and out striker which worries me slightly.  The only player that we currently have who i think could play as the deeper striker is Kewell

Nah that won't happen, if anything Rafa will play Kewell or someone else *cough* aimar behind the front two.  :;):

I think just Owen and Cisse would do well up front without Baros. Both have the ability to put plenty of pressure on the other teams defence without needing a third man, i say we concentrate on creating a strong midfield.
