Watched War of the Worlds the other night - it was alright, like - best bit about it was the sound effects for me though, sounds frikkin awesome on surround sound with all the lasers and planes and helicopters swooshing about.

War of the Worlds ain't bad at all, despite having Tom Cruise in it.

I watched the Prestige last night. Good film, hugely enjoyable, but the ironic thing is that the film itself reveals its "turn" too easily meaning that the big "Prestige" at the end is not quite as gobsmacking as the film thinks it is (anyone who has seen The Prestige will know what I am talking about).

Definitely a thumbs up from me, highly recommended. :)

If you liked the prestige you will love the illusionist ! I watched Deja vu last night, good film but nothing I hadn't seen before.

World trade centre is poor mate, I have seen Confetti but can't remember a thing about it, so you're probably right about that one.  :pirate   :rasp

Do you have a torrent for Grindhouse?

I use Grabit but you have to pay not much like.

From this it tells you what movies are out on the site.

Preminition is definately worth a watch. I wont say too much, truth be known it confused the hell outta me. Sandra Bullocks pretty good in it. I will say though the ending was a bit dissapointing.

Best thing to do is to watch that one yourself.  :)

My Mrs loves horror films we started the Hills have eyes 2 until 30 mins into it the picture went to pot. Have to wait for a better copy.

Gringhouse TBH I havent heard of that one yet, Tarentinos pretty good so I'll keep an eye out for that.

Saw Edison the other day. justin timberlakes first film with morgan freeman, dylan mcdermot, ll cool j and kecin spacey. very cool film but loses it at the end.

film of the year so far : Everything is illuminated

If u liked sideways, little miss sunshine or films like that then u WILL love this. its brilliantly written adn directed by liev schreiber and starring elijah wood as a young jewish man searching ukraine for a woman who saved his grandfather from the nazis. doesnt sound like a laugh, and parts of it are real emotional. but parts are absolutely brilliant!!!
