I think some people is lured by the big lights of the transfer markets, and computer football games.

Having STEVEN GERRARD AND XABI ALONSO in your team, and talking of CAMBIASSO (OMFG), GATUSSO (I rate the player but...), talking about Saviola as midfielder, INIESTA (would never have a game with Rafa) is a joke.

Why on earth do we underrate so much what we have?

I do think that a balance of world and good-class players are important

This is a valid point though. There are two rules in football

1) You cannot make a team full of leaders
2) If more than 30% of the squad are morons, the team won't work.

A player being smart in the pitch -footballwise- is an attribute that is not commented often when people talk about footie. I don't know why, it's important.

I understand what hes saying, we need a balance of experience with youth, but i think we got that...

ribery is a good player, no one is saying torres or adriano wouldnt adda dimension to our team, but players need more than ability alone to wear the red of liverpool. its a team thing, and individuals dont always mean the team will be stronger

Unrealistic targets I'm afraid.

One or two signings, perhaps, but 8 or so World-class ones? Not a chance.Kaka would cost more than Ronaldinho for a start.
