CREATIVITY is a MUST in todays game !
we lack flair at times... we lack positive attacking footballl..
Hleb is a great player...rosicky is a great player... i dont see not one player in liverpool whos better at going forward than these two... and guess what... they are not automatic picks in arsenal.. you get the picture !

todays game sums up our season so far brilliantly if you ask me !

hleb is a great player? ???? are you off your head? ???

u wouldnt know   :)

No matter. We'll get revenge on Tuesday.

The League Cup is better....cuz it's got three handles.

Little tw@ts sit and disect every single kick of the ball? Why?Because they have nothing better to do and they are bored of their middle leg!...It wont 'shoot' anymore!

Yes we are out of the FA cup...its not nice but its true!
So cue the wanna be pundits that feel its essential to crucify every player in a red shirt in a mere uneducated way of venting their warped sense of loss?

WHY?

Is that what being a fan is?

Is that what being in love with LFC is about?

The answer to the two above quite simply is NO!

Tonight about 5pm me and my girlfriend settled on the sofa(with the mut in between)......A Pizza and a few beers or 20 or 30...we call it little Anfield..sad but true!Cant be there as often as i wanna be!

When we seen the mosaic we sat in silence..Will the commentators even see it?

YES they even mentioned and shamed that K.unt McKenzie indirectly of course!
Then came the Chorus that nearly blew my speakers out...after that we could not have lost the game.I cried my lamps out and felt such pride to support such a fuc.king great club!I sat in awe and listened to fellow reds sing their hearts out with passion and a will that is nowhere else in the world of football but the Kop in Anfield!

Yes we lost the battle, and yes LFC are out of the FA cup in 2007 and yes it hurt! But a 3-1 defeat does not take away the pride and belief we have in our great club.

LFC has been here before us all and it will be here after us all and getting beaten on the break does not give licence to some little freaks to take each player down!

One things for sure. I will be seriously p*ssed off if Rafa plays Reina and/or Bellemy on Tuesday. Today is what counted and he blew it with some stupid choices. I know i can't blame dudek for everything but why choose him? What sort of message does that give Reina (who is the target of valencia at the moment) Dudek could have a game on wednesday if he's doing so f*cking well in training but rafa chooses to f*ck about in an important game against a good team. As for Crouch instead of Bellamy, if we were playing lower league opposition maybe but against Arsenal when he plays we are just too predictable. 1 shot on goal says it all really. Oh yeah and whats the f*cking point of having Bellamy warming up for the whole of the second half if you aren't going to play him?

Why? Are we not allowed to be critical of rafa?

How was Rosicky allowed to run towards the Liverpool goal for Arsenal's second goal when he was surrounded by so many red shirts who were doing nothing but retreating, allowing him to get into position and shoot, is really unbelievable. If they tried the same "trick defending" against Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco or Eto'o, we can forget about any silverware. The Carling Cup is a mickey mouse cup, so winning against Arsenal on Tuesday is no consolation.

For me, we lost the game after Arsenal got the second goal, the moment that Arsenal got a third goal after Carra made an uncharacteristic mistake by trying to shield the ball until it goes out of play with Theiry Henry bearing down on him is not the moment that made the task that much more difficult.

aCe' wrote:okay... that was a reality check !

we are far behind ! we lack quality !

i know i sound like a cry baby.. but any other team with an opportunity like the one we had today would have beaten arsenal by 2 or more goals !

Why Dudek ahead of Reina... i willl never know ! Rafa thinks he too smart at times... bites him in the a.ss !

Arsenal have quality players who can put the ball past the keeper... we have craappy forwards who can pass the ball back to midfielders and cause no threat to defenders...

Many seem to think that Kuyt had a great game... i thought he was more or less :censored:...
We ddnt need 4 Kuyts... we ddnt need 10 crouchs... we needed someone who can actually position themselves in the right spot and can actually make a decent attempt on goal !

Our strikers are by far the worst of all the big clubs in the country... they cant finish and work rate isnt what it takes to make a player a good striker !

Gerrard seemed to be in a league of his own playing alongside the likes of kuyt and Crouch and Riise and Dudek ! Absolute rubbish and not liverpool standard by any strech of the imagination !

2 reasons why we lost today :

1) Defensive errors (dudek included)
2) arsenal have better players

It may have escaped everyone's attention, but Arsenal had THEIR reserve 'keeper in goal aswell.

Don't blame Rafa for a truely sh*tty display by an International Goalkeeper. There's only so much a manager can do in those situations.

I think if today has highlighted anything about the team, it's our lack of pace along the back line. With Sami being phased out, the other defenders just do not have the ability to read a situation like the big Finn, so they NEED pace to come out on top.

I also re-iterate that Riise just is not good enough to play at left back, especially against swift wingers.

I thought Pennant was pretty good again, and looks to have gained some confidence from the Bolton game.

The others were pretty much their usual selves, with the obvious exceptions playing badly.

Special mention to the Kop aswell. Impeccable support. Whoever sorts these things out deserves a knighthood.
