Reina

  Finnan      JC      Agger       Riise

Pennant     Gerrard   Alonso     Garcia

               Crouch     Kuyt

Thats the team for me.  Bellamy is prob not 100% fit and i would play luis at home. Agger to come in for Hyppia.  Need as much pace as possible and Agger might see a bit of the ball if they play Henry alone up top.

I heard Henry will be back for the fa cup game and he'd give Sami nightmares if he played. I'd go for Agger in the fa cup game and Sami in the carling cup game.

really confident about this one. i just can't see anyone beating us at anfield at the moment. we've only conceded three goals at home all season.

it's also a decent time to play arsenal. they don't like playing up north, fabregas is suspended and henry isn't match fit.

i'll go for a 2-0 win.

The key to this tie is an unchanged side, allow our recent league momentum to work its magic in the FA Cup. A win on saturday gives us the edge in the Carling cup and would make it a lot easier to rest a few key players.

Hopefully Rafa will play a strong side on sat, and maybe a weaker side in the Carling cup. Would love us to put Arsenal in our back pockets, and put Wengers dummy back in his face.

It's a harder match than you lot seem to think.

Arsenal are a damn good side, and if we go behind we're done for. We MUST keep a clean sheet.

Just in on the official site:

Arsenal will be without suspended pair Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas for this weekend's FA Cup tie at Anfield.
Both players have collected five yellow cards this season and so will be unavailable for selection by manager Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners boss, though, has been boosted by the return to fitness of full back Emmanuel Eboue who has recovered from an ankle injury.

"The news is quite good at the moment," Wenger said. "We have no new injuries from the Charlton game and we have Eboue available for Saturday.

"Julio Baptista might come back too and William Gallas is very close.
The news of Theo Walcott's back is very good. He and William Gallas are possibles for the Carling Cup on Tuesday."
"Holy crip, he's a crapple"

Its a hard one to call because Arsenal seem to have caught our inconsistency bug. I mean after beating Man U away, being close to beating Chelsea away and hammering us at their place. You would think they would be challenging, but silly mistakes have cost them dear. I think this is the sort of game they will pull out all the stops for and so we should be very careful about getting too overconfident.

After the terrible start we made to the season i thought to myself if we do anything this year i just want to get some revenge against the bitters the Mancs, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bolton when they come to our place (i think the players must have thought the same after watching last weeks game with bolton). I think it will be very hard for Man U and Chelsea to come here because they will have the pressure of going for the title and so i can see us beating both of them, but arsenal are in a similar situation to us and have nothing really to lose.

We owe them, I'm never one to be too confident against our opponents. But after the game at the Emirates and the fact that we're at home I'm feeling positive about this. Also the fact that the Carling cup hasnt been played yet, because I reckon we'd of knocked a second string Arsenal side out of that, and it would of been them wanting revenge. We're pretty formidable at home so I cant wait for what should be an exciting match.

I would Happily take a win in the fa cup and then rest players for the carling. There is no credit given for winning the carling cup. I would like to see Guthrie played in his proper position and also anderson given a runout on right wing

Frankly if we start Guthrie and Anderson we'll be winning bugger all saturday.
