The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby port vale fan » Mon Nov 06, 2006 6:12 pm

Hi havent been on here for about a year now but i did say i would pop on again somtime so here i am.Anyway we are playing spurs on wednesday just thought id ask you lot any do's or don'ts and whats there ground like and ive heard you carn't smoke anywhere in there gound as well? and do they sell nice pies and do you think vale stand any kind of chance against these boys?.You are doing ok in the league and i think football is all about money now and if you don't have much you won't get very far. Vale were doing well at the start but are now slipping back down the table but hopefully we can get back top winning in the league somtime soon.As for spurs its just a day out , we are unsure about if we could get a draw at whl would we get at replay at vale or does that rule come in at the fifth round of the carling cup? Anyway good luck to you boys for the rest of the season and thanks for having me on here.Looking forward to a nice day out in london on wednesday what evr the result. :D

First of all "Port Vale" is a cool name for a football club.

Tough to say about the match. If they play a weaker team, you may have a chance. But it's likely this is their best opportunity at a trophy and (UEFA Cup spot) and they'll be confident after the Chelsea result, so you may get mullered.

Well, you lost.

But I think it's kinda unfair.

Tottenham players wearing spurs is surely against the rules?

How could you tackle them?

Tottenham encourage the practice of roosters fighting with sharp spurs attached to their legs.

Arsenal encourage the use of firearms and a big ruddy cannon.

West Ham encourage the use of hammers, probably to hit people over the head with.

Charlton have a giant sword on their badge. Probably banned under the Dangerous Weapons Act 1987.

Why are Londoners so violent?

Why are Londoners so violent?

Because they heard Moris was coming to town and wanted to stock up.

Pity they haven't killed him yet. :D

Why do West Ham sing about bubbles?

It's not exactly going to intimidate the opposition is it?

It's like Muhammed Ali walking down to the ring in Zaire with the theme from "The Good Life" playing over the PA system.
