No offence, mate, but digging up old threads--especially ones as irrelevant as this one now is--is annoying.  It clogs up the "New Posts" page, which means that more relevant discussions get lost in the shuffle.  By all means, read these threads over--there's no better way to learn board personalities, see what's been covered, etc.  But perhaps you don't need to add your tuppence months after the fact, hmmm? :)

Sabre wrote:I'd keep Morientes instead. Given the situation the player should have discipline and should not complain about not being in the starting eleven, and it's a known fact Cisse complained about that.

Plus, the goal of last week, showed the Mori I know, good finisher, even with his bad leg.

cisse is a player who likes to earn his money. this is why he wasnt happy sitting on the bench, he also just came back from a broken leg so he might have wanted to play a little more to get back to some kind of level.

i think morientes was a waste of money he has never scored over 19 goals a season at any of his clubs i dont think.

Lets not forget - Cisse hasn't been sold. There nothign stopping Rafa recalling him later this season or next season if the situation occurs where we are in desperate need for a striker

He could bring him back if he needs him but i think, well i hope he signs a new striker before the window closes but not sure if i want kuyt. I dont rate him that highly.
