Easy , I'd pick Morientes and Anelka .

For me Baros still does a lot of runnin' around with bug ger all end product and Cisse ? Well the fella still hasn't come to life for us ,I'm hopin' he fully recovers and next season starts to live up to the hype.

Bring on Morientes and Anelka . Top 3 finish no problem

Pick Anelka and we stand to get loadsa trouble jus like all the other clubs he's played for. Sayin that I dont think he gave us too many off pitch probs before, so maybe we're the 'big' club he keeps talkin about!!
My fave would be Morientes, and how good would that be to get RM later in the CL and have him sat in the stand as we destroyed Owen and Becks??!! :cool:

Unfortunate that Morientes is cup tied for CL, but shouldnt stop him bein lined up....theres always next year to think of. Too many of us here think for the next few minutes when the bigger picture is so much more important.

What happens when Cisse gets fit? We'd have Cisse, Baros, Moirentes, Anelka, Pongolle and Mellor as strikers, with Kewell and Garcia also able to play up front, and Le Tallec to return in the summer.

There are other areas of the side also need replacing, and unless there's an extra 30million in the coffers that we don't know about, we won't see both players coming here together.
