He's only 20/21, has top drawer control, reading of the game, can break an oppositions play up, take players on, retain posession, and more! This guy's limits are endless.

Man of the match tonight. He was the only player who looked in control.

He is the next Patrick Viera. 2 season's from now, and we will have the best Midfielder in Europe!

Anyone Disagree or discussion...please comment.

this thread is really funny, i always think sissoko as one of our future gems that will eventually make his mark as one of the best midfielder ( if he improves furthur ) but no way in hell he's better than stevie right now at least :D

I will agree that his passing has improved considerably over the summer and he even seemed more composed last night. All he needs are a few goals now.

Momo's gotta start scoring goals to be compared to Stevie.... If Viera has one failing it's his goal record, and at the moment that's Sissoko's achilles heel too...

Comparing Momo Sissoko and Steven Gerrard..........come on guys. They are TOTALLY different players and a fantastioc foil for each other. Momo is a combative holding midfielder who's qualities are mainly chasing back, tackling and giving it to the more attack minded players like Alonso and Gerrard. Stevie G is a far more dynamic attack minded midfielder who's qualities are going past players, shooting and scoring.

There is NO doubt that, in the whole, Gerrard is a better midfielder but there is no doubt in my mind that Sissoko is a going to a world class player and fantastic asset for Liverpool.

Momo will turn into a WORLD CLASS player, he has all the talent plus the best coach in the world to make him unstoppable, i admit he his good now but with every game for the next few years you will be able to see improvemet, he has very good attributes in all aspects of his play although his passing could greatly improve and tends to be a little rash with his tackles however this will change with experience.
HOWEVER .......
you will never find another Steven Gerrard, and to compare momo with him is laughable.
too many gerrard moments of inspiration too compare him to any player
one of the real legends to ever wear the red shirt

This has to be a wind-up FFS.....

I'm a big fan of Momo but he's got a long way to go to get close to Gerrard who is THE most complete midfielder in the country IMO..... some say the world.....

We're gonna have to find a way to include all 3 in CM and still play 2 strikers.....

Momo's proven to be a bargain but he's not quite there yet mate.....

Reckon it's a bit of a knee jerk reaction this thread.....  :D
