that would have been a VERY bad move for Liverpool fc.

How would Morgan be a bad move for us. He was willing to give us money for transfers and build the new ground. So if that's a bad move, explain what is a good move.

I presume you are a cronie of Morgans employed to put the feelers out for a new investment quest by him.

The guy is a media whore who wants to ground share with Everton and takes every opportunity to slag off Parry and Moores despite the tight ship they run. He also advocates getting Martin O'neill in.

I think getting Morgan in would benifit transfers.

But if he gets in and gets his feet under the table then he will look to become the chairman and the job David Moores has done for the club is superb and I would like to see Moores continue as chairman for even more successful years.

They could of made us a brand, a PLC, yet they have kept the tradition of Liverpool and kept it a Club. However if they do not have funds for the futures and they can't provide for the future of the club & help the club move forward then they need to step down.

I wouldn't like to see the club listed to be honest. I believe with a savy business/marketing strategy LFC can more that match other clubs through non-ticket sales. I like the fact that Liverpool has stayed true to its honest working roots. I wouldn't like the club to turn cut-throat to make sales.

LFC is already a brand, a very strong one at that. Its a brand that breeds strong loyalty. Its visual identity is very very recognisable, the intanglibles are easily articulated (every fan can state what LFC means to them) and most importantly it generates revenue. I think what you mean is, it could be a stronger brand. I don't disagree with so long as it doesn't sell its soul.

As for the stadium issue, and name, etc. I personally would like to see a new stadium, but the only peoples opinion who should count, IMO, are those that go every week.

But it is the strength of Man Utds stock market listing that generates them extra profit each year, which in turn they continually spend on players. They spend too much on certain players but nevertheless they still can openly spend large sums of money on players, which Liverpool in comparison have been unable to do in recent years

I don't think we have been unable to spend large amounts, because if you look at some of the players we have bought 14 mill for Cisse 11 mill for Heskey and 10 mill for Diouf and got less than 8 mill for all 3 put together. Maybe it's not in the same league as United or Chelsea but we do have money to spend. But I would still like someone like Morgan to give us that extra money to spend.

I seem to remember talk of Laksmi Mittal, the steal magnet being interested in investing in Liverpool FC.  Anyone know what happened with this one?

Going Plc would be a disaster, ManUre bought their way into World domination by putting their emblem on everything (yes, i remember the Ketchup they released). Our Crest should not be used like a publicity pawn. We have made our own publicity by consistently performing in various competitions, and setting most of them alight (not literally).  TBH i have never seen so many LFC shirts as i have recently. I believe the only improvment we need is a 65,000+ all singing, all dancing stadium (and keep it called (new) Anfield)

A new stadium is a must. Without that will still be playing catch up on the money Utd bring in.

Manhattan would also suggest LFC use video advertising boards around the pitch of the new stadium. They can phase and allow a greater range of sponsors to display their insignias and logos, giving us more revenue, and they look cool too. Sponsors should also be displayed on either side of the goal too using those "upright perspective" designs used in rugby. Sponsor logos can also be laid on the pitch before the match and at half time.
