all four of these teams can still qualify for the knockout phase. personally i'd like to see ghana and the czechs go through just because i like the way they approach the game and i don't like the italians.

by the way baros is in the squad for the czechs and so is koller. toni has been dropped by italy.

should be a couple of decent matches.

had me biggest bet in ages on ghana to win today - backed them after the eye tie game when they were 5/2 they are now 6/5 easy dough i reckon and the eye ties will win 1-0

Italy Czech - draw
USA will beat Ghana
So Italy and the Czechs will go through (the latter on goal difference)

Jan Polak send off was very daft, why clatter soemone from behind when you've already been booked!? Czechs are going out.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look good for the Czechs.

At least I got to see Baros :hearts

although he is struggling due to his foot injury.

(He still looks gorgeous, though I'm not sure about the beard).

Come on you Czechs, even though you only have 10 men!

absolutely delighted for ghan. i think they've been brilliant and will give brazil a bloody good game in the next round. essien looks like a completely different player than he does for chelsea.

as for italy, they may bore the pants off everyone but they're efficient. they'll get to the semis but then get knocked out by the agies imo.
