Thank :censored: you aren't the manager. :D

Yeah so am I, because I'd hate to manage a football club when there are arseholes like you supporting them.

Who then would you suggest Stu ?

There was talk of a Drio Srna where the president of the team (one of the Moscow ones i think) came forward and said "Liverpool has planted the seed" or something very similar. I never heard anything of him after that.

Obviously there is Joaquin and SWP but both would be out of our price range.

Pennant may just have to do.

Personally i am a fan of Malbranque but he strikes me as a moaner and not a team player. Talanted never the less.

Dario Srna plays for Shaktar in the Ukraine mate. And they don't need to sell any players as they are also owned by a very rich man.

On a serious note I'd probably steal RVNistleroy,SWP and Terry.

We need a goal poacher and although he plays for the Mancs he's the type of striker we need. I was tempted to say Henry but I believe RVN would suit our system better.
I picked SWP because we're light on the right with decent players. With Right mid being rotated between Gerrard and SWP throughout the season that would be problem solved.
Terry, a suitable replacemnt for Hyypia. Although Terry is to Chelsea what Carragher is to Liverpool he would still do a more than adequate job for us. He's one of the best defenders in the prem, it would be interesting though to see if he and Carra could gel.

Realisticaly speaking I would try for Dean Ashton or Andy Johnson. Both underrated in my opinion.

West Ham got a real deal with Ashton. Im happy with Crouch but Ashton has a better all round game an he can play with the best as he gave a real run around at Cardiff a few weeks ago.

I think if Andy Johnson had moved to a Premiership club right away after Palace were relegated then he could be in Crouchs place right now in the England squad.

Here are a few that spring to mind for me:

Arsenal - Thierry Henry.  I really hope I don't have to explain this one.
Aston Villa - nobody.
Birmingham - Jermaine Pennant (might get my wish here).
Blackburn - Morten Gamst Pedersen.  I think we haven't seen his best yet.
Bolton - Stelios.....don't feel like spelling out the last name, you know who I mean.
Charlton - nobody.
Chelsea - Joe Cole, John Terry.
Everton - couldn't pay me to take any of them.
Fulham - Steed Malbranque.
Man City - Joey Barton
Man U - sorry, couldn't concentrate enough to think about this one due to the bile that flooded my mouth thinking about the concept....
Middlesborough - Stewart Downing
Newcastle - Michael Owen, Shay Given.
Pompey - nobody.
Sunderland - nobody.
Tottenham - King, Lennon, Defoe.
West Brom - nobody.
West Ham - Nigel Reo-Coker, Dean Ashton
Wigan - nobody.

I know, quite a comprehensive list, but there  are a lot of great players in this league.  Any thoughts?

Arsenal - Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas
Aston Villa - nobody
Birmingham - Jermaine Pennant, at a push.
Blackburn - Craig Bellamy
Bolton - nobody
Chelsea - John Terry, William Gallas
Everton - nobody
Fulham - nobody
Man City - Micah Richards
Man UTD - Rooney, RVN, Gabriel Heinze
Middlesboro - Lee Catermole
Newcastle - Michael Owen, Shay Given
Portsmouth - nobody
Sunderland - Dean Whitehead at a push
Spurs - Aaron Lennon
West Brom - nobody
West Ham - Dean Ashton
Wigan - Pacal Chimbonda
Jolly Bob Grumbine.

Many of the players you have listed are either utter rubbish or are not good enough to get into our team.

Laurson and Bouma? Laurson has hardly kicked a ball in the last 2 years and Bouma is not a quality player by any stretch of imagination.
