Make a banner for phil - For cardiff?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 7_Kewell » Mon May 08, 2006 1:09 pm

Well, how about it?  A big Banner for Phil to have at Cardiff?

I'm still in the process of obtaining a ticket so i'm not 100% sure if i'm going to be there, but is there anyone going who is good at making banners?  If Phil was to watch the cup final on the TV....only to see a banner saying "never walk alone DrummerPHIL" or something, i'm sure he would be made up.

So, any groups going who reacon they could do this?

I think we would struggle to get  the club to do anything like this.

The banner idea would be much better. I would have given it a go for Cardiff with more notice, but our is done now.

Great idea Kewell.

Now it needs someone who will be at the match to organise it.

There are many Liverpool fans who are seriously ill, and the club simply can not do this for everyone.

The banner idea would be much better.

Not all the seriously ill LFC fans are respected members of our forum , but understand that the Tshirt idea is not on . As for the Banner , it's no f*ckin' good if Phil hasn't got something to see it on
,anyone who really cares can contribute  via the "Lets do something for DrummerPhil " thread .

Thanks .  :)

I’m sure phi’s wife said he is in a separate room and has a TV.
I think the banner is a very good idea.
And they are trying to get him home so let’s hope Phil is home and well enough to watch the match in comfort

if you make a banner its probably a good idea to contact the bbc to make sure they actually show it on tv as there is no guarantee that every banner will be shown.

Hi Everyone,

Funny you should mention it but had the same idea about a banner.  Phil's eyesight not top notch at moment but know he will have TV on and try his best to whatch the game, he will certainly be listening.  I will also record the match so if he misses anything he will be enable to catch up once he is able.

Great idea and hope you can manage to pull it off, Phil would be highly honoured.

Good Luck and thank you for all your support.

Karen just a word for you luv.Its not just Phil we are thinking about at the moment. We are all aware of the high and lows you have had in the past couple of years, having spoken to Phil in the past I know he couldnt have had any one better by his side. You look after yourself, and give those kids a hug from all of us.
