MODS I have a question why is this person aloud back on here after the 2nd 3rd time from being banned?
His new ID is emitynalooprevil.
I sussed him out after about 2 posts so what is a ban really?
Is it just a warning?

ciggy just let it lie, he's caused his fair share of trouble on here but so have plenty others but at least he also posts regular, sensible worthwhile proper footy-related stuff

he deserves the benefit of the doubt and an opportunity to be a member on here without people blatantly provoking him and fishing for an argument as has happened in the past

I think he should be allowed back, why the hell not! Ok he might have offended some on here, but im pretty sure he was offended too, and as offending people seems to be the norm on here , he should be allowed to join the fun.

It's curious, I agree wholeheartedly in the opinions about the well known twáts in this forum. Hustler and his replicas, and all those.

But LA is the only case I don't agree, I appreciated his posts. Yes he made a couple of mistakes, but we all have. He's just a little argumentative, but I'd like him too having a second oportunity.

He'd have to promise to talk only about footy and refuse to enter dialectical wars with other posters. If he agreed to that, I'd give him a second chance, he knows his football, he doesn't speak txt (1), he's a decent poster.

(1) In another old computers related forum that is alive since 1993 (mostly 30-40 year people there) they call that "leeting", I thought you would too, but I'm not sure since I haven't read it here.

mikz read my other thread, i apolgize if the earlier one caused GENUINE offence but i do not apologize for the content of that thread. george best is not the sort of person who should be held up as an idol as far as i'm concerned. and just to make sure nobody misunderstands, it's got nothing to do with whether he's from belfast, bristol or beijing

Sabre see here mate, your not from Liverpool I will not have my city or the people who live in dissrespected, Im sure you will understand.
There is only a few scousers on here, and even though we are tolerant there is also a line that is drawn.
You cannot claim to support a team and dissrespect the people that live in that city.
e.g. L.A. lives in London but claims to support Liverpool yet makes comments about my city where I was brought up er no f*ck that he and no one else is gona do that sorry.

But its the same old story again with him people flying to his defence when they wernt exactly affected by him voicing his opinions of the city they where born in and the city I love.
And claim to support that football team I mean how could I support spurs if I was scared of cockneys, Im not like but Id never say er dont go to London you might get an axe in your head.
More chance of getting an axe in your head off a yardie in London than Liverpool but then again I dont have any reason to support a team from other than the place I was born in.
And you know what p.isses me off the most about all this is he pms some of you lot to tell you that he's back and none of you bat an eyelid and think its great that he is back and I think its sly b@stard tactics TBH.

Not being funny Ciggy - but you need to get out more, travel the world and live a little. My sincere apologies if you've done this already.

There are scum in every city, Liverpool too has its fair share of lowlife, I am sure much to your shame and embarrasment. Agreed that if LA generalised so much as to say that the whole of Liverpool is like that he went too far - I didnt see that post so won't comment further. What I will say however is that the world, whether we like it or not, is a global village now. All this 'my city is better than your city and I wont hear anything different' type stuff smacks of Nationalist Front fervour albeit on a more localised scale. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not implying that of you or anyone else on this forum - just pointing out that we are all guilty of being a bit 'one eyed' occaisionally and forgetting too often how significant tolerance is if we all have any hope of getting along together. I'll take it further than that... if you'll feel wronged by any generalisations made, perhaps you as a Liverpool citizen can put right those wrongs by the use of a simple crime rate statistic (for example) so as to educate and inform those forum readers who have never been to the great and historic city of Liverpool.

As a postscript, I was/am one of those for ousting Saddam and yes, I have been to Anfield.

Er Ive probably travelled more in me life than you have for a start so dont even go there.
When L.A. was givin it large over the World Trade Centre and George Bush arraged it where were you in the arguemnet?
When the London Bombings took place and he said it was great but the shooting of the Brazilian was wrong and the one of the female officer was correct in the line of duty?
I somehow dont remember you in any of that?
