No Bigmick I've got my serious head on tonight, I'm Fecked off with the lack of goals we are scoring. We all know we need a right winger and Two quality strikers, Then a fecking Spanner comes on and says we need a centre back........... :help

Even I think that Morientes must leave now, and I've been defending him. But I don't think it's our unique problem. We need a striker, we need a RM not necessarily a winger, we need a better player than Kewell in the left (yes, we need it), and we need a CB just in case Hyppia-Carra couple breaks due to an injury.

Why a center back i must ask? we have paletta and agger they are enough cover up! Agger is a great backup for hyppia and carragher.

I just don't understand how we've made so many changes and spent this money on our strikers in the last couple of seasons and we are clearly so much worse in that department now as opposed to before.

Heskey, Baros, Owen. (20m gained)

Crouch, Cisse, Morientes. (27m lost)

I know which trio I would sooner have at the moment.
Every game I see Traore play now I think surely it will be his last but it never is, heh. Why did he get a new lengthy contract?

I don't know Paletta, but I know that Agger is very young, and you must be patient with youngster, even if they do seem ok when you see them in a couple of games.

Playing regular football is another matter. About Paletta, I still don't know much.

The Paletta deal isn't signed and sealed yet, to be honest I forgot about him but didn't wanna admit it to Welsh Wizard cos the guys a t!t

Carra and Agger, will be our pairing when Hyypia hangs up his boots but i think Hyypia will still deffo play next season, and it sounds as if we have sighned this Palletta, so its not a signing we have to make not yet anyway, This Jack Hobbs might just come through in a couple of seasons.So the Answer to your Question is "NO" i don't believe we need another centre back just yet. The reason The shiteee Traore played was because Hyypia was injured and Agger was cup tied.......

maybe i have to agree with you Sabre, we need to be patient on Agger for a while, but if he performes really well i dont think Benitez will get another center back

i heard about paletta that he is a very huge center back and he easily snarls at attackers, so henry beware

Paulc Why do we need another centre back then come next season if we have, Hyypia,Carra,Agger and Palleta. I know lets go and get Bramble and partner him with Traore....

Paletta was due to come over a few weeks ago and carry out a medical and agree personal terms but stayed in Argentina to help Banfield
