shock horror!!!!!

read a very interesting article the other day that was spot on, even tho we hate each other, without each other we would be nothing, it is the rivalry over the years that has made us both as big as we both are, also we both like to play football like it should be played

and if you look at what the pair of us have won compared to all the other clubs, especially the clubs from the capital who the media love its pretty remarkable, its a love hate relationship lol

What do you mean sky fell in love with United. Not in half as much love as they are in with Liverpool,Chelsea and Arsenal over the past few seasons.

United won the league playing great attacking football and with the two best sides of the 90s arguably two of the best sides in English Football history. Don't forget the number of scouse pundits on Telly

U have to accept, as hard as it may be, that players in thier 40/50s, with something to say are pretty much gonna be mostly speaking with a scouse accent. Not all, but mostly.

arguably the 2nd and 3rd best side in english football history mate

liverpool in the 80's were at a level that no club side has ever came near

Explain that seriously. I don't think your lot in the 80s were that special. You won the European cup a few times but so did Villa and Forest and you won a similar number of league titles in what was Footballs unpopular days. You are up there but i don't think you reached a level no other club side matched.

Just if Chelsea win loads of league titles they won't be as good as other sides as they don't approach to play enteraining football.

It was a different game then look how sucsessful you have been since the backpass was outlawed.

If the time machine was a viable option the two United teams would have beaten the 80s Liverpool.

Even in the 80s when United were awful whenever they played Liverpool they more often then not beat them for some reason or another the only time when this greatest side in English Footballing history outclassed United was the 83 League Cup Final.

man for man in the context of English Football the United team of 1994 is the best English footballing side. You are welcome to disagree but thats how i see it.

that 1994 team wasnt so good . I remember watching Barcelona destroy them 4-0 he he he ! Shouldve been more too. To be called a great team -you need to conquer europe too not totally capitulate at the first sight of decent opposition.

i must admit i've a lot more time for manu these days than i have for chelsea. at least everything the sh*te did was organic (albeit with the aid of shareholder's money piling in when they went plc)

i liken it to the difference between a proper band who've written all their own songs and played all their own instruments, and a pop-idol manufactured band who've been auditioned together from nothing and gone straight to number 1

i hate manu more than i could ever hate any other football club, but i DO respect them. chelsea? it's just loathing, no respect whatsoever.

sorry when you are not allowed play Cantona and giggs against the likes of Barcalona its a handicap and that was in 95 the team the year before that walked the league with the finest attacking football ever seen in the English game.

Don't forget in the 90s United won

the premiership in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, won't include 2000 and 2001 which was the three in a row.

Similar enough Haul frankly The United team dominated throughout the 90s and early 00s 7 in 9 is an unbelivable record for league titles.

Much as your haul was impressive i am always going to be biased so maybe i am talking :censored:

here.

I don't like the moneybag accusations placed at United its not thier fault for running a club properly the amount of stars that originated form the youth team was testament to a well run club. The class of 92 remains probobly the greatest youth team considering the calibar of player in it. The youth team has stayed strong and stars are already evident if Guiseppe Rossi wasn't so small he would be starting in the premiership already 17 goals in 13 starts for the reserves and 7 in his last 3 he is already showing the quality he has.

Sorry for the patronsing i just don't think Liverpool of the 80s were any better then the United of the next decade.

Manchester and Liverpool always inspired each other. The Sucsess of the Beatles showed the musical talent in the North West allowing The various Manchester groups of 80s and early 90s to make it. (Roses,Oasis,Joy Division, blah blah) and i think eventually another few proper scouse groups will make it big.

i will have more respect for what You did in the 80s and what united did in the 90s then them Surry,Essex and kent part time :censored:
