but this is feckin helarious!  :D

What i actually said is that Barton could be technically and tactically slightly better than Gerrard in one or two area's and overall in those departments.

What i never said in a million years that Barton was in anything like the same class of player as Gerrard or anything remotely even close to where Stevie is at.

Good player he is. Mark you're wrong about his ability mate. Simple as that, technically and tactically he's as good if not SLIGHTLY better than Gerrard.

However his attitude's a disgrace and physically he's average at best. He's also never in a million years a right sided midfielder, he's a central midfielder.

no stu, if you read your comments you clear say that he is as good if not better.....

i think barton will get found out at a big club, i dont think he is good enough to be considered for us or even the mancs.  although he is a battler and gives his all, and i respect as a player for that, but for liverpool he will rock the boat

And? I clearly don't deny saying that...

So Barton is in my opinion SLIGHTLY better than Gerrard in both a tactical and technical sense... now where did i say Joey Barton is a better footballer than Steven Gerrard or is in the same class? No go on... again i'll ask, where have i ever said Joey Barton was anything more than an excellent player, where did i ever call him class or world class?

Where did i say he was a better footballer than Steven Gerrard?

You give up?

Is that because i haven't actually said what you wanted me too?

Well, let me point out that in football, there is alot more to the game than tactical and technical ability. IE physical ability and mental ability.

Owned! Nuff said.

Indeed, I`d sacrifice a whole load of players for a smaller amount who can do 1 basic thing, pass the ball well without feeling the need to kick it long with a high risk of losing it. Keep the damn thing I guess I`m saying.

I can`t name 3 players who can come in and do this all season long, I aint a scout, I don`t see every game played by every other team.

Can Mr Barton do this basic thing ? If not, I don`t even want to know.
